The Journal of Public Health invites submission of papers on any aspect of public health research and practice.We welcome papers on the theory and practice of the whole spectrum of public health across the domains of health improvement, health protection and service improvement, with a particular focus on the translation of science into action.Papers on the role of public health ethics and law are welcome. We aim to promote the highest standards of public health practice internationally through the timely communication of current, best scientific evidence.Our main criteria for grading manuscripts are scientific originality and impact, as well as relevance to public health practice.

Journal of Radiological Protection publishes articles (in English) on all aspects of radiological protection, including non-ionising as well as ionising radiations. Fields of interest range from research, development and theory to operational matters, education and training. The very wide spectrum of its topics includes: dosimetry, instrument development, specialized measuring techniques, epidemiology, biological effects (in vivo and in vitro) and risk and environmental impact assessments.

It provides an opportunity for colleagues from all over the world to understand the current developments in the fields of rock mechanics, geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics and foundation engineering, civil engineering, mining engineering, hydraulic engineering, petroleum engineering, engineering geology, etc.

The JRMGE aims at promoting the international academic exchange and functions as a bridge between fundamental developments and practical applications.

The topics covered by the JRMGE include new theories, new technologies, new methods and experiences, in-situ and laboratory tests, new developments, case studies, and timely reviews on selected subjects in rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering.

The Journal of Small Animal Practice (JSAP) is a monthly peer-reviewed publication integrating clinical research papers and case reports from international sources, covering all aspects of medicine and surgery relating to dogs, cats and other small animals. These papers facilitate the dissemination and implementation of new ideas and techniques relating to clinical veterinary practice, with the ultimate aim of promoting best practice. The JSAP publishes high quality original articles, as well as other scientific and educational information. New developments are placed in perspective, encompassing new concepts and peer commentary. The target audience is veterinarians primarily engaged in the practise of small animal medicine and surgery.

The journal Electronic Materials Letters publishes original papers and occasional critical reviews on all aspects of research and technology in electronic materials. Topics include electronic, magnetic, photonic, and nanoscale materials. The editors place emphasis on science, technology and applications of materials, especially on the relationships among the processing and structure of various materials and their mechanical, thermal, chemical, electrical, electronic, electrochemical, magnetic and optical properties. Coverage of processing includes thin film, nanostructure fabrication self-assembly, solidification, phase transformation, and bulk, as well as related topics in thermodynamics, kinetics and modeling. Electronic Materials Letters is an official journal of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials.

Euphytica is an international journal covering the theoretical and applied aspects of plant breeding, and publishing critical reviews and papers on original research.The journal reports on the growing field of research associated with the integration of modern and traditional plant breeding using transgenic crop plants and/or marker assisted breeding in combination with traditional breeding tools. The content addresses the interests of researchers involved in plant breeding at universities, breeding institutes, seed industries, plant biotech companies and industries using plant raw materials, and promoting stability, adaptability and sustainability in agriculture and agro-industries. JMIR Medical Education (JME) is an open access, PubMed-indexed, peer-reviewed journal with focus on technology, innovation and openess in medical education. Another focus is on how to train health professionals to use digital tools. We publish original research, reviews, viewpoint and policy papers on innovation and technology in medical education. As an open access journal we have special interest in open and free tools and digitial learning objects for medical education, and urge authors to make their tools and learning objects freely available (we may also publish them as Multimedia Appendix). We also invite submissions of non-conventional articles (eg, open medical education material and software resources that are not yet evaluated but free for others to use/implement).

Brain Structure & Function publishes research that provides insight into brain structure-function relationships. Studies published here integrate data spanning from molecular, cellular, developmental, and system architecture, to the neuroanatomy of behavior and cognitive functions, to clinical neuroanatomy and brain dysfunction. Studies of the mammalian nervous system are central to the journal, yet coverage ranges beyond this taxon. Methodologies include modern tracing, immunocytochemical and neuroimaging methods; neuroinformatics (databases and internet tools); statistical techniques that support the integration of 3D cellular and systems-level anatomical data; and genetic/molecular/electrophysiological approaches to neural circuit models. The Cahiers de Linguistique Asie Orientale (CLAO) is an established peer-reviewed international journal whose mission is to publish new and original research on the analysis of languages of the East and Southeast Asian region, be they descriptive or theoretical. The journal seeks top-level contributions in any linguistic subdomain and in any theoretical framework with reference to a language or languages from the East and Southeast Asian region. Focusing at the same time on well-studied Asian languages, such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, and on those that are still partially or entirely undocumented, CLAO brings languages of the East and Southeast Asian region into a key position in current debate within linguistics and related fields.

The International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health serves as a multidisciplinary forum for original reports on exposure assessment and the reactions to and consequences of human exposure to the biological, chemical, and physical environment. Research reports, short communications, reviews, scientific comments, technical notes, and editorials will be peer-reviewed before acceptance for publication. High priority will be given to articles on epidemiological aspects of environmental toxicology, health risk assessments, susceptible (sub) populations, human biomonitoring, environment and health-related infections, occupational and environmental medicine, and public health aspects of exposure-related outcomes.

The International Journal of Nautical Archaeology is a forum for the exchange of ideas and research relevant to all aspects of nautical and maritime archaeology. Published twice a year in print and online, each issue of 224 pages contains peer-reviewed original articles, notes and book reviews. IJNA addresses the theory and practice of archaeology and related academic disciplines which investigate human associations with water and waterborne craft of all periods throughout the world, on seas and inland waters. The Journal of Water Chemistry and Technology focuses on water and wastewater treatment, water pollution monitoring, water purification, and similar topics. It publishes the results of research covering a very broad range, including the structure of water and its fundamental properties; chemical, physicochemical and biological methods of water treatment; methods of water analysis; instrumentation for monitoring water quality; and automation and control of treatment processes and systems. Many of the articles originate from the Institute of Colloid Chemistry and Water Chemistry (Ukrainian Academy of Sciences), which is well known for its contributions to the study of chemical and physicochemical water treatment processes.

Machine Learning: Health is a multidisciplinary open access journal dedicated to the application of machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven computational methods across healthcare and the medical, biological, clinical, and health sciences. The journal also publishes research that presents methodological, theoretical, or conceptual advances in machine learning and AI with applications to medicine and health sciences.

Marine and Coastal Fisheries: Dynamics, Management, and Ecosystem Science publishes original and innovative research that synthesizes information on biological organization across spatial and temporal scales to promote ecologically sound fisheries science and management. This Gold Open Access journal provides an international venue for studies of marine, coastal, and estuarine fisheries, with emphasis on species' performance and responses to perturbations in their environment, and promotes the development of ecosystem-based fisheries science and management. 

The journal encourages contributors to identify and address challenges in population dynamics, assessment techniques and management approaches, human dimensions and socioeconomics, and ecosystem metrics to improve fisheries science in general and make informed predictions and decisions.
