The scope of International Soil and Water Conservation Research includes research, strategies, and technologies for prediction, prevention, and protection of soil and water resources. It deals with identification, characterization, and modeling; dynamic monitoring and evaluation; assessment and management of conservation practice and creation and implementation of quality standards.

Vision

The vision of the Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice (JSARP) is to publish the most rigorous, relevant, and well-respected research and practice making a difference in student affairs practice. JSARP especially encourages manuscripts that are unconventional in nature and that engage in methodological and epistemological extensions that transcend the boundaries of traditional research inquiries.

Translational Neurodegeneration is a open access, peer-reviewed journal that covers research, therapeutics and education for all aspects of neurodegenerative diseases. It aims to provide an forum for international researchers and practitioners to discuss all areas of neurodegenerative diseases including epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, management and prevention, as well as their molecular, biochemical and physiological aspects. It offers the opportunity for basis scientists, clinicians and physician-scientists to publish their research and clinical trials in a journal which is applicable to their specific field.

The Journal of Spanish Language Teaching is a new peer-reviewed journal that provides an international forum for innovative research, methods, materials and theories on the teaching and learning of Spanish as a foreign language. The Journal's main purpose is to create a dialogue between researchers and practitioners worldwide in order to enrich a discipline that is experiencing tremendous growth. The Journal invites contributions from researchers working on topics related to the teaching and learning of the Spanish language at any educational level and in any setting.

The Journal will publish original research papers as well as book reviews. Periodically, it will also consider monographic issues and critical surveys of recent research related to a specific sub-discipline or geographical area. A thorough peer review process will be applied to both commissioned and unsolicited articles. The Journal of Spanish Language Teaching will constitute an essential journal of reference in the field. There is currently no other academic publication dedicated solely to the teaching and learning of Spanish, which exists in both print and electronic formats, and is global in its reach. BMC Health Services Research is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in all aspects of health services research, including delivery of care, management of health services, assessment of healthcare needs, measurement of outcomes, allocation of healthcare resources, evaluation of different health markets and health services organizations, international comparative analysis of health systems, health economics and the impact of health policies and regulations.

Research and Theory for Nursing Practice focuses on issues relevant to improving nursing practice, education, and patient care. The articles strive to discuss knowledge development in its broadest sense, reflect research using a variety of methodological approaches, and combine several methods and strategies in a single study. Because of the journal's international emphasis, article contributors address the implications of their studies for an international audience.

Transfer: European Review of Labour Research is a quarterly peer reviewed journal which stimulates dialogue between the European trade union movement and the academic and research community. Transfer helps to foster understanding of significant developments in the field of European trade union policy and industrial relations. Transfer contributes research findings of practical relevance to the trade unions.

Archives of Suicide Research, the official journal of the International Academy of Suicide Research (IASR), is the international journal in the field of suicidology. The journal features original, refereed contributions on the study of suicide, suicidal behavior, its causes and effects, and techniques for prevention. The journal incorporates research-based and theoretical articles contributed by a diverse range of authors interested in investigating the biological, pharmacological, psychiatric, psychological, and sociological aspects of suicide.The editors of ASR are mindful of the dichotomy between general (quantitative/nomothetic) methods of research and practice and approaches that utilize specific case studies (qualitative/idiographic). While eagerly accepting work from suicidologists situated on both sides of this division, the editors ultimately wish to cultivate a forum that attempts to reconcile and merge these oppositional modes. Journal of Taibah University for Science (JTUSCI) is an international scientific journal for the basic sciences. This journal is produced and published by Taibah University, Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The scope of the journal is to publish peer reviewed research papers, short communications, reviews and comments as well as the scientific conference proceedings in a special issue. The emphasis is on biology, geology, chemistry, environmental control, mathematics and statistics, nanotechnology, physics, and related fields of study. The JTUSCI now quarterly publishes four issues (Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct) per year. Submission to the Journal is based on the understanding that the article has not been previously published in any other form and is not considered for publication elsewhere.

Research Paper: There are 8 pages as maximum limit to the length of the research paper. It should include a set of keywords and an abstract followed by Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgments, and References.

Short Communication: deals with a concise study or preliminary findings that indicate an innovative piece of research that could be less substantial than a full research paper. Short Communication is limited to 2000 words. It should include a set of keywords, an Abstract and a 'Results and Discussion' Section (should be combined) and followed by Conclusion. The number of references is limited to 20 and the number of figures and/or tables is limited to 3.

Letter: Description of novel finding that might not be suitable for a regular research paper or short communication. Letter is limited to 1000 words. The number of references is 10 and the number of figures and/or tables is 2, and 10 references.

Review or mini-review: invited reviews should be of high interest to the readers of the scientific community.

Research in Engineering Design is an international journal that publishes research papers on design theory and methodology in all fields of engineering, focussing on mechanical, civil, architectural, and manufacturing engineering. The journal is designed for professionals in academia, industry and government interested in research issues relevant to design practice. Papers emphasize underlying principles of engineering design and discipline-oriented research where results are of interest or extendible to other engineering domains.
