Transactions of the Philological Society continues the earlier Proceedings (1852-53), and is the oldest scholarly journal devoted to the general study of language and languages that has an unbroken tradition. Transactions continues to reflect the Society's long-standing interest in comparative and historical linguistics in general and in Indo-European and the history of English in particular. Transactions also reflects the Society's broad range of interests and welcomes studies of all languages from the perspective of any of the various subdisciplines of descriptive and theoretical linguistics, including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics and sociolinguistics.

International Journal of Computer Mathematics: Computer Systems Theory is a world-leading journal publishing work of exceptional quality and novelty that concerns research and development in computer systems and the theory of computing. The Journal provides a forum for the expression of new ideas, as well as a place for exposition of these areas of knowledge. Papers considering applications and analysis of computational mathematics should be submitted to the sister Journal,  International Journal of Computer Mathematics (IJCM). Any papers submitted relating to these fields will be transferred to IJCM. Please ensure you submit your paper to the correct journal to save time reviewing and processing your work.

The Proceedings of the Geologists' Association is an international geoscience journal that was founded in 1859 and publishes research and review papers on all aspects of Earth Science. In particular, papers will focus on the geology of northwestern Europe and the Mediterranean, including both the onshore and offshore record. Following a long tradition, the PGA will focus on: i) a range of article types (see below) on topics of wide relevance to Earth Sciences ii) papers on aspects of Earth Science that have societal relevance including geoconservation and Earth management, iii) papers on palaeoenvironments and palaeontology of the Mesozoic and Cenozoic, iv) papers on aspects of Quaternary geology and climate change, and v) papers on the history of geology with particular reference to individuals that have shaped the subject. These topics will also steer the content of the themes of the Special Issues that are published in the PGA.Papers published in the PGA will take the form of Research papers and Review papers. In addition it will publish Viewpoints, which are aimed to provide authoritative views from Earth Scientists on topics of debate within our subject, Topical or Teaching Perspectives on subjects of current, or potentially future importance and are not necessarily research papers but are written in a manner that makes them particularly accessible to the general public and students, and Contexts, which are short papers giving the wider scientific context of a paper that is published in the same issue. Submissions of all these types of papers, within the scope and aims of the journal, are welcome. Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases (ARD) is an international peer review journal committed to promoting the highest standards of scientific exchange and education. It covers all aspects of rheumatology, which includes the spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, arthritic disease, and connective tissue disorders. ARD publishes basic, clinical, and translational scientific research. Concise scientific communication is encouraged and peer reviewed proceedings of international meetings are featured. Educational papers include state of the art reviews, "how to" articles and educational cases that focus on problems faced in clinical practice. The journal was first published in 1939 and has an authorative global Editorial Board and a growing international readership.

The Biological Journal of the Linnean Society publishes papers concerned with the process of organic evolution in the broadest sense. It particularly welcomes contributions (up to a maximum of 12 000 words) that illustrate the unifying concepts of evolutionary biology with evidence, either observational or theoretical, from any relevant field of the biological sciences. We are especially keen to receive manuscripts on evolutionary genomics. Potential authors should be aware that papers on specialized subjects are discouraged. The Biological Journal succeeded (in 1969) the Proceedings of the Society, the journal in which Darwin and Wallace published their seminal papers in 1858. Also published on behalf of the Linnean Society: Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society and Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society.

The Canadian Journal of Animal Science is an international peer-reviewed journal edited by the Canadian Society of Animal Science.The Journal publishes original research on all aspects of domestic livestock and their by-products. Doklady Mathematics is a journal of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It publishes brief, scientific reports on previously unpublished significant new research in mathematics and its applications, including mathematical physics, computer science, control theory, and computers. The main contributors to the journal include members of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), corresponding members of the RAS, and scientists from the former Soviet Union and other foreign countries. Earth, Moon, and Planets: An International Journal of Solar System Science, publishes original contributions on subjects ranging from star and planet formation and the origin and evolution of the solar and extra-solar planetary systems, to asteroids, comets, meteoroids and near-Earth objects, including the terrestrial impact hazard and solar system - terrestrial relationships, and related topics. Coverage is concerned with the physical and chemical properties of the material constitution of these bodies, including chaotic behavior. The journal also publishes special issues on topics of relevance and conference proceedings, review articles on problems of current interest, and book reviews. EJC Supplements is an open access companion journal to the European Journal of Cancer. As an open access journal, all published articles are subject to an Article Publication Fee. IJU Case Reports is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that considers new observations of diseases, clinical findings or novel/unique treatment outcomes relevant to practitioners in urology.

As healthcare professionals, authors, and publishers ourselves, the IJU Case Reports editors believe in the value of case reports and know how hard they can be to write and publish.
