Founded in 1982, the Chinese Journal of Oceanology and Limnology (CJOL) explores ocean and lake related sciences. CJOL publishes the most up-to-date original research papers, mainly from China, on all aspects of oceanology (or oceanography in the western sense) and limnology related fields. Academic topics include biology, physics, geology, chemistry, hydrology, meteorology, and geography. Applications-sector coverage includes aquaculture, marine resource exploration, remote-sensing, environmental protection, marine engineering, pharmacology, and instrumentation. Most published papers are from projects at provincial and ministerial levels, representing the most advanced research in China. This is the only official learned-society journal of the Chinese Society for Oceanology and Limnology, and it is affiliated with the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao, China.

The Journal of Open Archaeology Data (JOAD) features peer reviewed data papers describing archaeology datasets with high reuse potential. We work with a number of specialist and institutional data repositories to ensure that the associated data are professionally archived, preserved, and openly available. Equally importantly, the data and the papers are citable, and reuse is tracked.
JOAD data papers are relatively quick to create, and provide you with a peer-reviewed publication to gain credit for your data. Submit a paper today!
The international peer-reviewed Journal of Open Hardware publishes papers and reviews on technical, legal, economic, and sociocultural aspects of open hardware design, fabrication, and distribution. Its primary goal is to promote research and development of professional, academic, and community-based open hardware projects.
The Journal of Open Humanities Data (JOHD) features peer reviewed publications describing humanities data or techniques with high potential for reuse. Humanities subjects of interest to JOHD include, but are not limited to Art History, History, Linguistics, Literature, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, etc. Data that crosses one or more of these traditional disciplines are highly encouraged.
The Journal of Open Psychology Data (JOPD) features peer reviewed data papers describing psychology datasets with high reuse potential. Data papers may describe data from unpublished work, including replication research, or from papers published previously in a traditional journal. We are working with a number of specialist and institutional data repositories to ensure that the associated data are professionally archived, preserved, and openly available. Equally importantly, the data and the papers are citable, and reuse is tracked.
The Journal of Open Research Software (JORS) features peer reviewed Software Metapapers describing research software with high reuse potential. We are working with a number of specialist and institutional repositories to ensure that the associated software is professionally archived, preserved, and is openly available. Equally importantly, the software and the papers will be citable, and reuse will be tracked.
JORS also publishes full-length research papers that cover different aspects of creating, maintaining and evaluating open source research software. The aim of the section is to promote the dissemination of best practice and experience related to the development and maintenance of reusable, sustainable research software.
