The International Journal of Hydrogen Energy aims to provide a central vehicle for the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, technology developments and research results in the field of Hydrogen Energy between scientists and engineers throughout the world. The emphasis is placed on original research, both analytical and experimental, covering all aspects of Hydrogen Energy, including production, storage, transmission, utilization, enabling technologies, environmental impact, economic and international aspects of hydrogen and hydrogen carriers such as NH3, CH4, alcohols, etc.The utilization includes thermochemical (combustion), photochemical, electrochemical (fuel cells) and nuclear conversion of hydrogen, hydrogen isotopes and/or hydrogen carriers to thermal, mechanical and electrical energies, and their applications in transportation (including aerospace), industrial, commercial and residential sectors.When outstanding new advances are made, or when new areas have been developed to a definitive stage, special review articles will be considered. Shorter communications are also welcome.

The International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health serves as a multidisciplinary forum for original reports on exposure assessment and the reactions to and consequences of human exposure to the biological, chemical, and physical environment. Research reports, short communications, reviews, scientific comments, technical notes, and editorials will be peer-reviewed before acceptance for publication. High priority will be given to articles on epidemiological aspects of environmental toxicology, health risk assessments, susceptible (sub) populations, human biomonitoring, environment and health-related infections, occupational and environmental medicine, and public health aspects of exposure-related outcomes.

The International Journal of Impact Engineering, established in 1983, has as its objective the publication of original research findings related to the response of structures, bodies and materials from the exposure to impact and blast events. Pertinent areas encompass the following general topics and those associated with them:Structural impact and failureEnergy absorbing systemsTerminal ballisticsDynamic material behaviour and failureStress wavesStructural crashworthinessBlast loading and its effects on structuresHigh-speed mechanical and forming processesHazards assessments, safety and protection involving impact and blast loadingTesting/measurement techniques coupled with applicationManuscripts submitted for publication will be subjected to stringent peer review and assessed for their contribution to scientific understanding of impact phenomena or fundamental insights gained towards engineering design for high rate loading. Papers concerned primarily with the fields of mathematics, materials science or computation, with little direct relevance to impact and blast dynamics, as well as those of a purely descriptive nature will be declined.. However, well-designed and well-documented experimental studies that advance the body of knowledge are encouraged. Manuscripts that focus on parametric studies (e.g. using commercial software), unaccompanied by convincing validation and discussion of application of results generated, as well as papers on novel computational techniques without comparison with established methods or test data are also not solicited.Papers in the International Journal of Impact Engineering should generally be of interest to aeronautical engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, naval architects, nuclear engineers, ocean engineers, offshore engineers, transportation engineers and workers in other branches of engineering and science who are involved in various aspects of impact and blast loading.Companion papers Authors should aim at submitting manuscripts that can be reviewed on their own, without assuming that preceding or subsequent related manuscripts will be published. Authors of companion papers should inform the Editor of the reasons for publishing their work in multiple parts.

The journal publishes original contributions that add to our understanding of the role of humans in today's systems and the interactions thereof with various system components. The journal typically covers the following areas: industrial and occupational ergonomics, design of systems, tools and equipment, human performance measurement and modeling, human productivity, humans in technologically complex systems, and safety. The IJIO is an international venture that aims at full coverage of theoretical and empirical questions in industrial organization. This includes classic questions of strategic behavior and market structure. The International Journal of Law, Crime and Justice is a refereed journal for high quality research and analysis in the areas of socio-legal studies and the psychology of law, criminology and social justice studies. The Journal invites papers based on empirical research, theoretical analysis and debate, and policy analysis and critique. Papers should be between 7000-10,000 words in length, although shorter papers relating to policy analysis and debate will be considered. The International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture is devoted to advances in scientific understanding of essential mechanics of processes and machines applied to the manufacture of engineering components, mainly in metals, but also in composites, ceramics and other structural/functional materials. It does not deal with large-scale natural organic materials. To this end coverage is given to a range of topics that includes:•Essential mechanics of processes involving material removal, accretion and deformation, in solid, semi-solid or particulate form•Performance characteristics of machine tools and machine tool work-piece systems•Tool design, utilization and failure•Significant scientific development of existing or new processes and machines•Approaches to added value through geometrical/microstructural precision•Micro manufactureThe above list is not exhaustive and papers on other topics associated with process science/technology or manufacturing hardware are welcome. Significant and useful advance of the current state of knowledge is an essential factor and it is important that papers are presented in a manner that will be appreciated by both academics and practising engineers. It is unlikely that papers dealing with theory or modelling alone will be acceptable, unless a significant proven advance in scientific/technological knowledge is demonstrated. Likewise, papers in which the use of methodology predominates over technological advance would probably be rejected. Normally, multipart papers are not acceptable.
