The Journal of Fluorine Chemistry contains reviews, original papers and short communications. The journal covers all aspects of pure and applied research on the chemistry as well as on the applications of fluorine, and of compounds or materials where fluorine exercises significant effects. This can include all chemistry research areas (inorganic, organic, organometallic, macromolecular and physical chemistry) but also includes papers on biological/biochemical related aspects of Fluorine chemistry as well as medicinal, agrochemical and pharmacological research. The Journal of Fluorine Chemistry also publishes environmental and industrial papers dealing with aspects of Fluorine chemistry on energy and material sciences. Preparative and physico-chemical investigations as well as theoretical, structural and mechanistic aspects are covered. The Journal, however, does not accept work of purely routine nature. For reviews and special issues on particular topics of fluorine chemistry or from selected symposia, please contact the Regional Editors for further details.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. The Journal of Forensic Sciences is the official publication of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS). It is devoted to the publication of original investigations, observations, scholarly inquiries, and reviews in the various branches of the forensic sciences. These include Pathology and Biology, Toxicology, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, General, Odontology, Physical Anthropology, Jurisprudence, Criminalistics, Questioned Documents, Engineering Sciences, and Digital & Media Sciences. Similar submissions dealing with forensic-oriented aspects of the social science are also published. All papers are peer-reviewed. As papers clear the peer review and editorial processes, they will be included in this electronic version of the journal. The printed version of the journal will be distributed the first week of the month that the publication is issued. The official publication of this journal for citation purposes is the online version.
General physiology is the study of biological mechanisms through analytical investigations, which decipher the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying biological function at all levels of organization. The mission of The Journal of General Physiology (JGP) is to publish articles that elucidate important biological, chemical, or physical mechanisms of broad physiological significance. The major emphasis is on physiological problems at the cellular and molecular level.A brief editorial history.

This is the oldest English language journal in genetics. Founded by W. Bateson and R. C. Punnett in 1910, the Journal of Genetics was later edited by J. B. S. Haldane; later, Haldane and his wife, Helen Spurway brought the journal with them to India. After his death in 1964, Mrs. Haldane continued publication of the journal, with Madhav Gadgil and H. Sharat Chandra (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore) and Suresh Jayakar (Laboratorio de Genetica Biochimica ed Evoluzionistica, Pavia) as editors, until her own death in 1977. In 1985, with the permission of Haldane’s heirs, the Indian Academy of Sciences resumed publication of the journal. The journal retains its traditional interest in evolutionary research that is of relevance to geneticists, even if not explicitly genetic in nature.
The Journal of Genetics and Genomics (JGG, formerly known as Acta Genetica Sinica ) is an international journal publishing peer-reviewed articles of novel and significant discoveries in the fields of genetics and genomics. Topics of particular interest include but are not limited to molecular genetics, developmental genetics, cytogenetics, epigenetics, medical genetics, population and evolutionary genetics, genomics and functional genomics as well as bioinformatics and computational biology. The main article types include original research, review, method article, letter to the editor, resource, highlight, and meeting report. Currently, JGG is indexed by Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E), Medline, Scopus, Biosis Previews and Chemical Abstracts. JGG publishes papers in English only and is distributed internationally.

The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry is an established cell biology journal that includes primary research articles, timely reviews, editorials and perspectives on the structure and function of cells, tissues and organs. This includes research into mechanisms of development, differentiation, and disease. High priority is given to submissions where imaging techniques are complemented by current genetic, molecular, and biochemical approaches. The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry welcomes concise review articles, especially those that address key issues in methodology. The journal continues to publish new developments in microscopy and imaging. Purely descriptive studies of gene or molecular expression also will be considered, particularly where supported by experimental data to generate mechanistic insights into cell or tissue function.
The Journal of Histotechnology publishes original articles dealing with vertebrate histology or cytology, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, marine histology, nuclear histology, veterinary histology, fluorescence and electron microscopy, molecular biology, and case studies describing the use of stains in the analysis of disease in human or animal tissue. Articles dealing with quality control, tricks of the trade, and educational or administrative techniques directly related to these disciplines are also published.
