Journal of Neurophysiology. This journal publishes original articles on the function of the nervous system. All levels of function are included, from the membrane and cell to systems and behavior. Experimental approaches include molecular neurobiology, cell culture and slice preparations, membrane physiology, developmental neurobiology, functional neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neuropharmacology, systems electrophysiology, imaging and mapping techniques, and behavioral analysis. Experimental preparations may be invertebrate or vertebrate species, including humans. Theoretical studies are acceptable if they are tied closely to the interpretation of experimental data and elucidate principles of broad interest.

The Journal of Oral Biosciences is the official journal of the Japanese Association for Oral Biology, and is published quarterly in addition to a supplementary issue for the Proceedings of the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Oral Biology. The Journal is devoted to the advancement and dissemination of fundamental knowledge concerning every aspect of oral biosciences including cariology research, craniofacial biology, dental materials, implant biology, geriatric oral biology, microbiology/immunology and infection control, mineralized tissue, neuroscience, oral oncology, periodontal research, pharmacology, pulp biology, salivary research, and other fields.

The aim of the Journal of Oral Pathology & Medicine is to publish manuscripts of high scientific quality representing original clinical, diagnostic or experimental work in oral pathology and oral medicine. Papers advancing the science or practice of these disciplines will be welcomed, especially those which bring new knowledge and observations from the application of techniques within the spheres of light and electron microscopy, tissue and organ culture, immunology, histochemistry and immunocytochemistry, microbiology, genetics and biochemistry. Review papers on topical and relevant subjects will receive a high priority. Original research material requiring rapid publication because of their significance and timeliness will be included as Brief Reports. They should not exceed three pages. The official Journal of the European Peptide Society EPS The Journal of Peptide Science is a cooperative venture of John Wiley & Sons, Ltd and the European Peptide Society, undertaken for the advancement of international peptide science by the publication of original research results and reviews. The Journal of Peptide Science publishes three types of articles: Research Articles, Rapid Communications and Reviews. Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis (JPA) is a peer-reviewed open access journal for original research articles, short communication as well as review articles related to all aspects of Pharmaceutical Analysis. This journal is an international medium directed towards the needs of academic, clinical, government and industrial analysis by publishing original research reports and critical reviews on pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis. It covers the interdisciplinary aspects of analysis in the pharmaceutical, biomedical and clinical sciences, including developments in analytical methodology, instrumentation, computation and interpretation. Submissions on novel applications focussing on drug purity and stability studies, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic monitoring, metabolic profiling; drug-related aspects of analytical biochemistry and forensic toxicology; quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry are also welcome.Studies from areas of well established and poorly selective methods, such as UV-VIS spectrophotometry (including derivative and multi-wavelength measurements), basic electroanalytical (potentiometric, polarographic and voltammetric) methods, fluorimetry, flow-injection analysis, etc. are accepted for publication in exceptional cases only, if a unique and substantial advantage over presently known systems is demonstrated. The same applies to the assay of simple drug formulations by any kind of methods and the determination of drugs in biological samples based merely on spiked samples. Drug purity/stability studies should contain information on the structure elucidation of the impurities/degradants. Papers dealing with the analytical aspects of traditional folk medicines are acceptable if the results are expected to attract the interest of readers also outside the area of origin. Bioanalytical papers (pharmacokinetic, bioequivalence, protein and DNA binding studies) are accepted if the focus is on innovative analytical methodology.In determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication, particular scrutiny will be placed on the degree of novelty and significance of the research and the extent to which it adds to existing knowledge in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis. In all submissions to the journal, authors must address the question of how their proposed methodology compares with previously reported methods. The journal is a forum for the original scientific results of basic, applied, and clinical research involving any aspect of the pineal gland or its hormonal products in all vertebrate species. Essential criteria for publication are soundness, novelty, and timeliness, as well as clarity of presentation.
