The Journal of Advanced Transportation is a fully peer reviewed international journal in the general area of transportation. Founded in 1970, the Journal of Aerosol Science considers itself the prime vehicle for the publication of original work as well as reviews related to basic and applied aerosol research. Its content is directed at scientists working in areas such as physics, chemistry, engineering, applied mathematics, aerobiology, medicine, industrial and environmental hygiene, toxicology, or materials processing.The editors welcome submissions of papers describing recent theoretical and experimental research related to:• The basic physical, chemical and biological properties of systems of airborne particles of all types,• Their measurement,• Their formation, transport, deposition and effects,• Their industrial, environmental and medical applications.Beside originality, a very important criterion for acceptance of a submission is its ability to communicate conclusions of general relevance to a given field. The Journal publishes qualified papers on aircraft systems, air transportation, air traffic management, and multidisciplinary design optimization of aircraft, flight mechanics, flight and ground testing, applied computational fluid dynamics, flight safety, weather and noise hazards, human factors, airport design, airline operations, application of computers to aircraft including artificial intelligence/expert systems, production methods, engineering economic analyses, affordability, reliability, maintainability, and logistics support, integration of propulsion and control systems into aircraft design and operations, aircraft aerodynamics (including unsteady aerodynamics), structural design/dynamics , aeroelasticity, and aeroacoustics. It publishes papers on general aviation, military and civilian aircraft, UAV, STOL and V/STOL, subsonic, supersonic, transonic, and hypersonic aircraft. Papers are sought which comprehensively survey results of recent technical work with emphasis on aircraft technology application.
The Journal of Alloys and Compounds is intended to serve as an international medium for the publication of work on solid materials comprising compounds as well as alloys. Its great strength lies in the diversity of discipline which it encompasses, drawing together results from materials science, solid-state chemistry and physics. The interdisciplinary nature of the journal is evident in many subject areas. The Journal of Applied Biomechanics (JAB), formerly known as the International Journal of Sport Biomechanics, accepts articles that pertain to the applied aspects of human biomechanics in sport, exercise, and rehabilitation. Studies of importance in theory development are also considered. Research examining the effect and control of forces that act on and are produced by the human body is encouraged. Similarly, studies related to modeling and human movement simulation and to the effects of internal and external forces on body structures during skill development and rehabilitation are appropriate for JAB. Equal consideration will be given to studies involving participants of all levels of ability or disability.The Journal of Applied Biomechanics publishes original research reports, invited review papers, and “target” articles on selected current issues in the field. It also contains book reviews, technical notes, an editorial section, and other special features. Individuals are invited to submit manuscripts to any of the journal’s sections. Methodologies used in original research must meet currently accepted scientific protocol.
