Launched in 1985, the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law/Revue Femmes et Droit is the only Canadian periodical devoted entirely to the publication and dissemination of multi-disciplinary scholarship in the expanding field of women's legal studies. The CJWL is incorporated as a non-profit organization with charitable status. The CJWL's readership includes lawyers, judges, law students, academics, government officials and others interested in women's equality. The CJWL's mandate is to provide an outlet for those wishing to explore the impact of law on women's social, economic and legal status, and on the general conditions of their lives. The Journal promotes the expansion of women's legal scholarship into new areas of research and study, and it aims to increase the volume and improve the accessibility of legal scholarship by Canadian women, on specifically Canadian topics. Finally, the CJWL seeks to provide an important tool for activists, academics and others engaged in research and law reform efforts on behalf of women.

Canadian Public Administration/Administration publique du Canada is the refereed scholarly publication of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC). It covers executive, legislative, judicial and quasi-judicial functions at all three levels of Canadian government. Published quarterly, the journal focuses mainly on Canadian issues but also welcomes manuscripts which compare Canadian public sector institutions and practices with those in other countries or examine issues in other countries or international organizations which are of interest to the public administration community in Canada.

Canadian Public Policy/Analyse de politiques is Canada's foremost journal examining economic and social policy. The aim of the journal is to stimulate research and discussion of public policy problems in Canada. It is directed at a wide readership including decision makers and advisers in business organizations and governments, and policy researchers in private institutions and universities. Social work as an academic discipline was reintroduced to universities in the Chinese mainland in the 1980s. The number of universities offering social work programs has increased drastically in the past two decades. Social services provided by government organizations and NGOs have also proliferated as a response to rising social problems and needs. China Journal of Social Work (CJSW) is the first academic English journal jointly edited from Hong Kong and mainland China, to focus on social work development taking place in China. CJSW is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Taylor and Francis Group, in collaboration with Peking University - The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China Social Work Research Centre. The journal endeavours to provide a platform for scholars within and outside mainland China to share research, teaching and practice experiences and to facilitate critical dialogue between Chinese social workers and their international peers.The journal welcomes submissions from all areas of social work theory and practice, social work education, social development, and social policy in the Chinese context.
