The Journal of Risk and Insurance is the flagship journal for the American Risk and Insurance Association. The JRI is the most well recognized academic risk management and insurance journal in the world and is currently indexed by the American Economic Association's Economic Literature Index, the Finance Literature Index, the Social Sciences Citation Index, ABI/Inform, Business and Company ASAP, Lexis-Nexis, Dow Jones Interactive, and others. All back issues, i.e., 1933-2001, are now available on JSTOR. The Journal of Risk and Insurance publishes rigorous, original research in insurance and risk management. This includes the following areas of specialization: 1. Industrial organization of insurance markets; 2. Management of risks in the private and public sectors; 3. Insurance finance, financial pricing, financial management; 4. Economics of employee benefits, pension plans, and social insurance; 5. Utility theory and demand for insurance; 6. Latin American and Caribbean Ethnic Studies is a cross-disciplinary venue for quality research on ethnicity, race relations, and indigenous peoples. It is open to case studies, comparative analysis and theoretical contributions that reflect innovative and critical perspectives, focused on any country or countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, written by authors from anywhere in the world. In a context in which ethnic issues are becoming increasingly important throughout the region, we are seeing the rapid expansion of a considerable corpus of work on their social, political, and cultural implications. The aim of the Journal is to play a constructive role in the consolidation of this new field of studies and in the configuration of its contours as an intellectual enterprise.Latin American and Caribbean Ethnic Studies welcomes scholarly work from all the relevant disciplines in the Social Sciences and the Humanities. The Journal of Econometrics is designed to serve as an outlet for important new research in both theoretical and applied econometrics. The scope of the Journal includes papers dealing with estimation and other methodological aspects of the application of statistical inference to economic data, as well as papers dealing with the application of econometric techniques to substantive areas of economics. Econometric research in the traditional divisions of the discipline or in the newly developing areas of social experimentation are decidedly within the range of the Journal's interests.Annals of Econometrics form a supplement to the Journal of Econometrics. Each issue of the Annals includes a collection of papers on an important topic in econometrics, selected by the editor of the issue. The South Asian Diaspora, shaped by dispersions of people, goods, ideas and beliefs that flowed from and through the Indian Subcontinent which is currently one of the world's largest diasporas. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives all anchor a sense of home for people who have moved outside the region through the centuries. These territories evoke emotional, social, political, economic, cultural and literary affiliations as well which find expression in multiple ways. The diaspora is also marked by struggles over meanings and tensions both amongst the diasporics and with people in the countries where the diasporics now inhabit. In South Asian Diaspora we aim to explore some of the issues that the South Asian diaspora presents for the contemporary world. Published quarterly, CRANIO: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice is the oldest and largest journal in the world devoted to temporomandibular disorders, and now also includes articles on all aspects of sleep medicine. The Journal is multidisciplinary in its scope, with editorial board members from all areas of medicine and dentistry, including general dentists, oral surgeons, orthopaedists, radiologists, chiropractors, professors and behavioural scientists, physical therapists, acupuncturists, osteopathic and ear, nose and throat physicians.
