The Brazilian Journal of Microbiology is an international peer reviewed journal that covers a wide-range of research on fundamental and applied aspects of microbiology.

The journal considers for publication original research articles, short communications, reviews, and letters to the editor, that may be submitted to the following sections:  Biotechnology and Industrial Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Bacterial and Fungal Pathogenesis, Clinical Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Veterinary Microbiology, Fungal and Bacterial Physiology, Bacterial, Fungal and Virus Molecular Biology, Education in Microbiology. The journal is the official publication of the Brazilian Society of Microbiology and currently publishes 4 issues per year.

There are no publications costs to authors, except when they wish to make their article open access (see "Open Choice" in the instructions for authors)

The Canadian Journal of Animal Science is an international peer-reviewed journal edited by the Canadian Society of Animal Science.The Journal publishes original research on all aspects of domestic livestock and their by-products. Cell and Tissue Banking provides a forum for disseminating information to scientists and clinicians involved in the banking and transplantation of cells and tissues. Cell and Tissue Banking is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers in such areas as quality assurance and control of banked cells and tissues; preservation and sterilization methods; clinical applications of banked cells and tissues; standards of practice in procurement, processing, storage and distribution; and ethical and medico-legal issues. Research is presented in the form of full-length papers describing original work; short communications for rapid publication; and mini- and full-length reviews of topical issues.

Cells (ISSN 2073-4409) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies related to cell biology, molecular biology and biophysics. It publishes reviews, research articles, communications and technical notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided. Papers, submitted to this journal, having neither been submitted, accepted nor published previously or simultaneously in other journals or books, may be accepted.It should be noted that all papers have to be transmitted, either to the Editor-in-Chief, to the Associate Editors or to the Co-Editors, who can all, without exception, handle the totality of the procedures, leading to the evaluation of the papers. After revision and acceptance of the paper, it is transmitted to the Editor-in-Chief who decides finally about its definitive acceptability. No any claim can be made by the author(s) concerning an eventual rejection of the paper. They can neither oblige any of the Editors and the Editor-in-Chief to disclose the name(s) and the number of the Referees, nor to give a detailed account about the content of the comments of the Referees.

Crime, Media, Culture is a peer reviewed, international journal providing a vehicle for scholars working at the intersections of criminological and cultural inquiry.
