It is an international scientific journal that publishes papers in English covering the whole field of geology and palaeontology, i.e. petrology, mineralogy, stratigraphy, systematic palaeontology, palaeogeography, historical geology and Quaternary geology. Systematic descriptions of fossils, minerals and rocks are an important part of GFF's publishing record. Papers on regional or local geology should deal with Balto-Scandian or Northern European geology, or with geologically related areas. Papers on geophysics, geochemistry, biogeochemistry, climatology and hydrology should have a geological context. Descriptions of new methods (analytical, instrumental or numerical), should be relevant to the broad scope of the journal. Review articles are welcome, and may be solicited occasionally. Thematic issues are also possible. Mathematics is pervading every study and technique in our modern world, bringing ever more sharply into focus the responsibilities laid upon those whose task it is to teach it. Most prominent among these is the difficulty of presenting an interdisciplinary approach so that one professional group may benefit from the experience of others. The International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology provides a medium by which a wide range of experience in mathematical education can be presented, assimilated and eventually adapted to everyday needs in schools, colleges, polytechnics, universities, industry and commerce. Contributions will be welcomed from lecturers, teachers and users of mathematics at all levels on the contents of syllabuses and methods of presentation. Increasing use of technology is being made in the teaching, learning, assessment and presentation of mathematics today; original and interesting contributions in this rapidly developing area will be especially welcome. Palynology is an international journal, and covers all aspects of the science. We accept papers on both pre-Quaternary and Quaternary palynology and palaeobotany. Contributions on novel uses of palynology, review articles, book reviews, taxonomic studies and papers on methodology are all actively encouraged. Fresh pollen from anthers were processed using acetolysis 2. infiltrated with 2,2'-thiodiethanol (TDE), a mounting medium for high-resolution microscopy 3. A 3-D image stack was acquired using an Olympus FV1000 laser scanning confocal microscope with a 100x/1.4 oil immersion objective (Excitation 488 nm, emission 500-600nm) 4. Imported the entire confocal stack into Osiri X 3D medical imaging software running on an iMac with 4GB of RAM. 5. Selected every fifth slice in the stack for rendering, in order to fit the stacks into the 4GB memory limit addressable by a 32-bit operating system 6. Perform 3D rendering using a color map optimized for bones and soft tissue 7. 3.       Case studies. The Grand Rounds in Clinical Neuropsychology section of the journal is devoted to single case study presentations of interesting, timely, important, or unusual cases. Cases should be instructive and focus on the contributions that competent neuropsychological assessment make in terms of (a) elucidating brain-behavior relationships, (b) determining the functional status of patients, and (c) instructing intervention, treatment, rehabilitation, education, etc.  Essential elements of a case study submission include the following:

• a well-documented history of the patient
• medical/neurologic/psychiatric findings, and neuroimaging (preferred, but not required )
• detailed results of neuropsychological evaluation
• discussion of differential diagnosis and relevent treatment/management considerations

Bioremediation Journal is a peer-reviewed quarterly that publishes current, original laboratory and field research in bioremediation, the use of biological and supporting physical treatments to treat contaminated soil and groundwater. The journal rapidly disseminates new information on emerging and maturing bioremediation technologies and integrates scientific research and engineering practices. The authors, editors, and readers are scientists, field engineers, site remediation managers, and regulatory experts from the academic, industrial, and government sectors worldwide.High-quality, original articles make up the primary content. Other contributions are technical notes, short communications, and occasional invited review articles. Before contributions are accepted for publication, they must pass a rigorous peer-review process managed by the editor-in-chief. The journal also publishes letters to the editor, book and software reviews, new product and patent information, and announcements of upcoming conferences and courses.The scope encompasses any use of biological processes for environmental restoration. Hybrid technologies, which combine chemical and/or physical processes with biological, also are appropriate for inclusion.
