The mission of the Dubai Medical Journal is to encourage innovative research by promoting original scientific research in the fields of medicine, health sciences, nursing, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory work in addition to women’s and children’s health. Nonclinical subjects related to medicine, especially ethics and complementary medicine as well as social and cultural observations, are also covered. As international as Dubai itself, the journal offers a global perspective, but also focuses on the United Arab Emirates. Partnerships with local and international medical and health authorities are envisaged.
The journal facilitates the dissemination of information through research articles, review articles, case reports, editorials, letters, book reviews, meta-analyses and commentaries. An educational corner will help to ensure continuous professional development and education. Besides this, the journal also offers a platform for controversies, mythology, and much more.

Earth, Moon, and Planets: An International Journal of Solar System Science, publishes original contributions on subjects ranging from star and planet formation and the origin and evolution of the solar and extra-solar planetary systems, to asteroids, comets, meteoroids and near-Earth objects, including the terrestrial impact hazard and solar system - terrestrial relationships, and related topics. Coverage is concerned with the physical and chemical properties of the material constitution of these bodies, including chaotic behavior. The journal also publishes special issues on topics of relevance and conference proceedings, review articles on problems of current interest, and book reviews. Big Earth Data is an interdisciplinary Open Access journal. It aims to provide an efficient and high quality platform for promoting 'big data' sharing, processing and analyses, thereby revolutionising the cognition of the Earth's systems.

The journal publishes research topics on 'big data' studies across the entire spectrum of Earth Sciences. Article types include original research articles, review articles, data papers and technical notes. By providing a platform for the publication of research papers and data papers with descriptions of data sets, the journal aims to promote the principle of data sharing via an open data policy.

Biopolymers publishes original research papers and review articles in the general area of macromolecular structure and function, as well as biologically relevant model systems. Manuscripts should report on studies that examine biological macromolecules (naturally occurring and designed), their interactions, reactions, and macromolecular assemblies at structural, chemical, and physical levels. The Journal strives to publish high-impact papers that will significantly enhance our understanding of the chemistry and/or the biology of the systems under investigation. Reports describing techniques that could be applied to the study of biological macromolecules will be considered for publication only if they will have broad utility to the biochemical and biophysical research community. The neurobiology of learning and memory is entering a new interdisciplinary era. Advances in neuropsychology have identified regions of brain tissue that are critical for certain types of function. Electrophysiological techniques have revealed behavioral correlates of neuronal activity. Studies of synaptic plasticity suggest that some mechanisms of memory formation may resemble those of neural development. And molecular approaches have identified genes with patterns of expression that influence behavior. It is clear that future progress depends on interdisciplinary investigations. The current literature of learning and memory is large but fragmented. Until now, there has been no single journal devoted to this area of study and no dominant journal that demands attention by serious workers in the area, regardless of specialty. Learning & Memory provides a forum for these investigations in the form of research papers and review articles.

Limnology is a scientific journal published three times a year, in January, April, and August, by Springer in association with the Japanese Society of Limnology. The editors welcome original scientific contributions on physical, chemical, biological, or related research, including environmental issues, on any aspect of theoretical or applied limnology.
