Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance

ISSN: 2214-6350eISSN: 2214-6369

The area of Behavioral Finance and the related area of Experimental Finance are now fully accepted as mainstream approaches within finance. Behavioral and experimental finance therefore represent lenses and approaches through which we can view financial decision-making. The aim of the journal is to publish high quality research in the fields of corporate finance, asset pricing, financial econometrics, international finance, personal financial decision making, macro-finance, banking and financial intermediation, capital markets, risk management and insurance, derivatives, quantitative finance, corporate governance and compensation, investments, market mechanisms, SME and microfinance and entrepreneurial finance, where such research is carried out with a behavioral perspective and/or is carried out via experimental methods. The journal aims to provide a single source for the latest research in these areas. It is open to but not limited to papers which cover investigations of biases, the role of various neurological markers in financial decision making, national and organizational culture as it impacts financial decision making, sentiment and asset pricing, the design and implementation of experiments to investigate financial decision making and trading, methodological experiments, and natural experiments. Although primarily empirical, it welcomes theoretical papers which cast light on behavioral and experimental topics. the journal is also open to review and survey papers on any aspect of the above, where such papers aim to provide an overview and synthesis of present research.

Continental Shelf Research

ISSN: 0278-4343eISSN: 1873-6955

Continental Shelf Research publishes articles dealing with the physical oceanography, sedimentology, geology, chemistry, biology and ecology of the shallow marine environment, from coastal and estuarine water out to the shelf break. Papers that are published present results from both fundamental, original research as well as applied, or directed research.Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary process-oriented contributions, and encouragement is given to the publication of the results of innovative experimental studies with more general applicability.Continental Shelf Research publishes occasional review articles. It also includes a section on Notes, Instrumentation and Methods. Furthermore, papers are open for written discussion for up to three months following publication and both the discussion and the author's response are published.Continental Shelf Research also publishes special issues dedicated to results of large interdisciplinary studies or topical issues on specific subjects.Note to Authors: When considering submission of a manuscript to CSR, bear in mind that recent analyses show that published papers are downloaded by scientists from over 90 countries world-wide. This level of usage emphasizes the need for authors to present their research results in a broad context, to be of interest to this international community. Likewise, when suggesting the four reviewers for a manuscript, an international perspective of individual scientists (not necessarily affiliated with CSR) should be considered.

Critical Reviews in Environmental Science and Technology

ISSN: 1064-3389eISSN: 1547-6537

Understanding and assessing the myriad environmental problems that face society today and devising rational strategies and methods for their control are two of the major international challenges of our time. There is a global demand for pollution abatement, but adequate and appropriate measures for pollution control, pollution prevention, and remediation of past environmental degradation requires sound technical knowledge of the factors and processes involved. Environmental science is the complex and dynamic interaction of diverse scientific disciplines, including earth and agricultural sciences, chemistry, biology, medicine, and engineering, and the development of new disciplines such as environmental toxicology and risk assessment. This journal serves as an international forum for the critical review of current knowledge on the broad range of topics in environmental science. It addresses current problems of the day and the scientific basis for new pollution control technologies. Critical Reviews in Environmental Science and Technology provides comprehensive and timely reviews by the leading authorities in each subject area. Topics Covered * Waste and wastewater treatment * Fate and transport of contaminants * Bioremediation * Soil contamination * Wetland function and design * Waste reduction, recycling, and reuse * Air, soil, and water contaminant biogeochemistry * Risk assessment and management * Environmental toxicology and epidemiology Publication office: Taylor & Francis, Inc., 325 Chestnut Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Designed Monomers and Polymers

eISSN: 1568-5551
DOAJ Logo

Designed Monomers and Polymers (DMP) provides a forum for the prompt publication of peer-reviewed, English-language papers on all areas of macromolecular design and application. Emphasis will be placed on the macromolecular preparations including the synthesis, characterization and application of monomers. The experimental part should be provided in such detail (including specific observations, precautionary notes, use of new materials, techniques, and their possible problems, etc.) that it could be reproduced by any researcher wishing to repeat the work. The subjects of macromolecular science, initiators, macroinitiators for macromolecular design, as well as the kinetics, mechanism and modeling aspects of polymerization, will be included too.

Designed Monomers and Polymers provides an interface between organic, and polymer chemistries and aims to bridge the gap between monomer synthesis and the design of new polymers. The subject of monomers may include old monomers but new methods of synthesis. Authors must show the evidence for polymerization (including polycondensation, sequential combination, oxidative coupling, radiation, plasma polymerization, etc.) for new monomers. The field of monomers encompasses functional prepolymers of various architectures such as hyperbranched polymers, telechelic polymers, macromonomers, or dendrimers.

Articles on monomers have been scattered over a vast number of journals: there is no polymer journal that covers a specialized subject such as monomers, whereas monomers are the building blocks of polymers. Designed Monomers and Polymers seeks to redress the balance by providing an international forum for addressing the issue of monomers and the art and science of macromolecular design.

All manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees.

Examples of these include cell proliferation, intracellular targeting, cell polarity, membrane traffic, cell migration, stem cell biology, morphogenesis, developmental roles of genes or pathways and differentiation. The primary criterion for publication inDevelopmental Cell, as for all Cell Press journals, is new biological insight. We recognize that there are many ways in which such insight can be obtained, andDevelopmental Cell is interested in studies using the full range of methodologies available to the cell and developmental biology communities. We are happy to consider any study that leads to important new conclusions about biological function.Developmental Cell is a complementary partner for its companion journal Molecular Cell, and has similar standards for publication.Visit the Developmental Cell website to find out more - http://www.developmentalcell.com .
