The Journal of Civil Structural Health Monitoring (JCSHM) publishes articles to advance the understanding and the application of health monitoring methods for the condition assessment and management of the civil infrastructure systems.JCSHM serves as a focal point for international sharing of knowledge and experience in technologies impacting the discipline of Civionics and Civil Structural Health Monitoring, especially in terms of load capacity ratings and service life estimation.Original articles to further the state-of-the-art in diagnostics, and prognostics for civil infrastructure systems including highways, bridges, buildings, airports, seaports, railroads, water resources systems, oil and gas pipelines, and others are welcomed.There is an important role for papers that address the application (successful or from a lesson learned aspect) of principles. The Journal of Electronic Materials (JEM) reports monthly on the science and technology of electronic materials, while examining new applications for semiconductors, magnetic alloys, dielectrics, nanoscale materials, and photonic materials. The journal welcomes articles on methods for preparing and evaluating the chemical, physical, electronic, and optical properties of these materials. Specific areas of interest are materials for state-of-the-art transistors, nanotechnology, electronic packaging, detectors, emitters, metallization, superconductivity, and energy applications.

The Journal of Forecasting is an international journal that publishes refereed papers on forecasting. It is multidisciplinary, welcoming papers dealing with any aspect of forecasting: theoretical, practical, computational and methodological. A broad interpretation of the topic is taken with approaches from various subject areas, such as statistics, economics, psychology, systems engineering and social sciences, all encouraged. Devoted to an examination of the civilizations of the Near East, the Journal of Near Eastern Studies has for 125 years published contributions from scholars of international reputation on the archaeology, art, history, languages, literatures, and religions of the Near East. Founded in 1884 as Hebraica, the journal was renamed twice over the course of the following century, each name change reflecting the growth and expansion of the fields covered by the publication. In 1895 it became the American Journal of Semitic Languages and Literatures, and in 1942 it received its present designation, the Journal of Near Eastern Studies. The Journal of Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics serves as an international publication organ for new ideas, insights and results on non-equilibrium phenomena in science, engineering and related natural systems. Stimulated by the advent of modern computers the developments in the field of numerical mathematics have been numerous in the past decades. However, the developments in the East and West went in different directions. Since its inception in 1993, the (East-West) Journal of Numerical Mathematics has promoted the exchange of ideas and results in numerical mathematics between scientists in Eastern Europe and Western countries and familiarized the world scientific community with the activities of researchers in Russia and other Eastern European countries.Due to political changes in the last decade, the exchange of research results has become easier and as a result, research results from Eastern European countries no longer form the emphasis of this journal. The Journal of Numerical Mathematics continues to contain high-quality papers on various topics in numerical mathematics as well as papers with significant mathematical content in the field of computational fluid dynamics and other areas of computational science from the international research community. The journal Mycoses provides an international forum for original papers in English on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, therapy, prophylaxis, and epidemiology of fungal infectious diseases in humans and animals as well as on the biology of pathogenic fungi. Prominent mycoses of the skin have always been the domain of dermatology. Otorhinolaryngologists, gastroenterologists, and gynecologists are confronted with mycoses of the mucous membranes. Medical mycology as part of medical microbiology is advancing rapidly. Effective therapeutic strategies are already available in chemotherapy and are being further developed. Their application requires reliable laboratory diagnostic techniques, which, in turn, result from mycological basic research. Opportunistic mycoses vary greatly in their clinical and pathological symptoms, because the underlying disease of a patient at risk decisively determines their symptomatology and progress. Therefore, case histories are highly informative. Short communications on mycological topics complete the original articles. The journal mycoses is, therefore, of interest to scientists in fundamental mycological research, mycological laboratory diagnosticians, clinicians in all fields, and veterinarians.
