Journal of Taibah University for Science (JTUSCI) is an international scientific journal for the basic sciences. This journal is produced and published by Taibah University, Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The scope of the journal is to publish peer reviewed research papers, short communications, reviews and comments as well as the scientific conference proceedings in a special issue. The emphasis is on biology, geology, chemistry, environmental control, mathematics and statistics, nanotechnology, physics, and related fields of study. The JTUSCI now quarterly publishes four issues (Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct) per year. Submission to the Journal is based on the understanding that the article has not been previously published in any other form and is not considered for publication elsewhere.

Research Paper: There are 8 pages as maximum limit to the length of the research paper. It should include a set of keywords and an abstract followed by Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgments, and References.

Short Communication: deals with a concise study or preliminary findings that indicate an innovative piece of research that could be less substantial than a full research paper. Short Communication is limited to 2000 words. It should include a set of keywords, an Abstract and a 'Results and Discussion' Section (should be combined) and followed by Conclusion. The number of references is limited to 20 and the number of figures and/or tables is limited to 3.

Letter: Description of novel finding that might not be suitable for a regular research paper or short communication. Letter is limited to 1000 words. The number of references is 10 and the number of figures and/or tables is 2, and 10 references.

Review or mini-review: invited reviews should be of high interest to the readers of the scientific community.

The Archaeological Journal  is the prestigious peer-reviewed publication of the Royal Archaeological Institute. Published since 1844, the Journal contains research articles, fieldwork reports and major syntheses and analyses, addressing archaeological theory and method applied to all periods of the human past from earliest prehistory to recent times. The journal focuses its attention on England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and neighbouring islands and regions. It also provides examples of the application of the latest approaches and directions in archaeological research of global interest and relevance. The Journal also includes an extensive reviews section providing current scholarly assessments of recent publications.

British Politics offers the only forum explicitly designed to promote research in British political studies, and seeks to provide a counterweight to the growing fragmentation of this field during recent years. To this end, the journal aims to promote a more holistic understanding of British politics by encouraging a closer integration between theoretical and empirical research, between historical and contemporary analyses, and by fostering a conception of British politics as a broad and multi-disciplinary field of study. This incorporates a range of sub-fields, including psephology, policy analysis, regional studies, comparative politics, institutional analysis, political theory, political economy, historical analysis, cultural studies and social policy.While recognising the validity and the importance of research into specific aspects of British politics, the journal takes it to be a guiding principle that such research is more useful, and indeed meaningful, if it is related to the field of British politics in a broader and fuller sense.The scope of the journal will therefore be broad, incorporating a range of research papers and review articles from all theoretical perspectives, and on all aspects of British politics, including policy developments, institutional change and political behaviour. Priority will, however, be given to contributions which link contemporary developments in British politics to theoretical and/or historical analyses. The aim is as much to encourage the development of empirical research that is theoretically rigorous and informed, as it is to encourage the empirical application of theoretical work (or at least to encourage theorists to explicitly signify how their work could be applied in an empirical manner).

Designed Monomers and Polymers (DMP) provides a forum for the prompt publication of peer-reviewed, English-language papers on all areas of macromolecular design and application. Emphasis will be placed on the macromolecular preparations including the synthesis, characterization and application of monomers. The experimental part should be provided in such detail (including specific observations, precautionary notes, use of new materials, techniques, and their possible problems, etc.) that it could be reproduced by any researcher wishing to repeat the work. The subjects of macromolecular science, initiators, macroinitiators for macromolecular design, as well as the kinetics, mechanism and modeling aspects of polymerization, will be included too.

Designed Monomers and Polymers provides an interface between organic, and polymer chemistries and aims to bridge the gap between monomer synthesis and the design of new polymers. The subject of monomers may include old monomers but new methods of synthesis. Authors must show the evidence for polymerization (including polycondensation, sequential combination, oxidative coupling, radiation, plasma polymerization, etc.) for new monomers. The field of monomers encompasses functional prepolymers of various architectures such as hyperbranched polymers, telechelic polymers, macromonomers, or dendrimers.

Fly is the first international peer-reviewed journal to focus exclusively on Drosophila research.Fly publishes broadly three general types of papers: original research, methods and technical advances and reviews and meeting reports.Topics in Drosophila research include: cell biology, development, gene regulation, chromosome dynamics, behavior, evolution, population biology, neurobiology, molecular biology and biochemistry, genomics and anything else that we might have left out or might come along.We will distinguish Fly from other journals in two important ways:First, we plan to have regular features of specific interest to the Drosophila community. For example: What's new on Flybase? How do I get my hands on all of those new stocks for doing that new cool technique? Who are the new researchers in the Drosophila field and what are they doing? What really great Drosophila papers were published recently? What's happening in those fields of Drosophila research outside my own? 'Pastoralism: Research, Policy and Practice' is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. Spectroscopy Letters is an international journal that provides vital coverage of fundamental developments, new or improved instrumentation, spectroscopic diagnostics, and applications of spectroscopy across all disciplines disciplines (chemistry, physics, biology, environmental, geological) where spectroscopy is used. The journal offers communications about original experimental and theoretical work on such methods as NMR, ESR, microwave, NIR, Raman and UV spectroscopy, together with atomic emission, absorption, and fluorescence, X-ray spectroscopy, all forms of organic and inorganic mass spectrometry, laser spectroscopy, electron microscopy, molecular fluorescence and molecular phosphorescence. Manuscripts are welcome from all disciplines of biology, chemistry, physics and instrumentation science. Articles can be submitted as full papers, or as short papers of a preliminary nature (letters). Letters may include instrumental developments that may be useful for other spectroscopists. Applications of spectroscopy in pharmaceutical analysis are not covered, nor are spectroscopic techniques already well-established and well-represented in the literature. Also, one special sub-category of papers may be submitted: Spectroscopy Education Letters, which covers accounts of research done by undergraduates, new experiments for teaching, and other new pedagogical materials or approaches to the teaching of spectroscopy at any level. Studies in Language (SL) provides a forum for the discussion of issues in contemporary linguistics from discourse-pragmatic, functional and typological perspectives. Areas of central concern are: discourse grammar; syntactic, morphological and semantic universals; pragmatics; grammaticalization and grammaticalization theory; and the description of problems in individual languages from a discourse-pragmatic, functional, and typological perspective. For regular article contributions, the priority of a typological and cross-linguistic perspective is high: Articles on one language are welcome if of interest to the generalist/universalist. Likewise, interdisciplinary studies are welcome to the extent that they have the same perspective. In addition to regular articles, SL welcomes short contributions that report on new discoveries in little-known and/or endangered languages, emphasizing description over theory and comparison, and that are published in a special section to the journal.
