Marine Geology is the premier international journal on marine geological processes in the broadest sense. We seek papers that are comprehensive, interdisciplinary and synthetic that will be lasting contributions to the field. Although most papers are based on regional studies, they must demonstrate new findings of international significance. We accept papers on subjects as diverse as seafloor hydrothermal systems, beach dynamics, early diagenesis, microbiological studies in sediments, palaeoclimate studies and geophysical studies of the seabed. We encourage papers that address emerging new fields. We insist that the papers are concerned with the marine realm and that they deal with geology: with rocks, sediments, and physical and chemical processes affecting them. Papers should address scientific hypotheses: highly descriptive data compilations or papers that deal only with marine management and risk assessment should be submitted to other journals. Papers on laboratory or modelling studies must demonstrate direct relevance to marine processes or deposits. Archives of Women’s Mental Health is the official journal of the Marce Society and the North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology (NASPOG). The exchange of knowledge between psychiatrists and obstetrician-gynecologists is one of the major aims of the journal. Its international scope includes psychodynamics, social and biological aspects of all psychiatric and psychosomatic disorders in women. The editors especially welcome interdisciplinary studies, focussing on the interface between psychiatry, psychosomatics, obstetrics and gynecology. Archives of Women’s Mental Health publishes rigorously reviewed research papers, short communications, case reports, review articles, invited editorials, historical perspectives, book reviews, letters to the editor, as well as conference abstracts. Only contributions written in English will be accepted. The Asia-Pacific Journal of Atmospheric Sciences (APJAS) is an international journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (KMS), published fully in English. It has started from 2008 by succeeding the KMS' former journal, the Journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (JKMS), which published total of 43 volumes and 129 issues in its time-honored tradition. Since 2008, the APJAS is included in the journal list of Thomson Reuters’ SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) and also in SCOPUS, the Elsevier Bibliographic Database, indicating the increased awareness and quality of the journal.

Phytochemistry is the international journal of pure and applied plant chemistry, plant biochemistry and molecular biology, published 12 times per annum by Elsevier. The majority of these publications will be Regular Issues covering research on all aspects of pure and applied plant biochemistry, especially that which leads to a deeper understanding of the factors underlying the growth, development and metabolism of plants and the chemistry of plant constituents. Phytochemistry is a primary source for papers dealing with plant secondary compounds, especially with regard to their biosynthesis and diverse properties. Phytochemistry is the official organ of The Phytochemical Society of Europe and The Phytochemical Society of North America. The Journal is currently divided into several sections as indicated below, but papers which cut across these sections or which are on any other aspect of plant biochemistry will also be considered.

Post-Medieval Archaeology is a bi-annual journal devoted to the study of the material evidence of European society wherever it is found in the world. This fascinating period saw the transition from medieval to industrial society, the foundation of the modern European world on new Renaissance and Reformation values, the shift from collective to individual mentalities, increasing social segregation, new notions of privacy, family, gender and space, global expansion, and revolutions in the modes and scales of production. Social Movement Studies is an international and inter-disciplinary journal providing a forum for academic debate and analysis of extra-parliamentary political, cultural and social movements throughout the world. Social Movement Studies has a broad, inter-disciplinary approach designed to accommodate papers engaging with any theoretical school and which study the origins, development, organisation, values, context and impact of historical and contemporary movements active in all parts of the world. We understand our inter-disciplinary approach to include both contributions that engage with particular schools of thought relevant to social movements and popular protest and contributions that extend across disciplinary boundaries. Social Movement Studies aims to publish soundly researched analyses and to re-establish writing as intervention. From this broad and inclusive perspective we are interested in contributions dealing with social movements, popular protests and networks that support protest. AJEV publishes full-length research papers, literature reviews, research notes, and technical briefs on various aspects of enology and viticulture, including wine chemistry, sensory science, process engineering, wine quality assessments, microbiology, methods development, plant pathogenesis, diseases and pests of grape, rootstock and clonal evaluation, effect of field practices, and grape genetics and breeding. All papers are peer reviewed, and authorship of papers is not limited to members of ASEV. The science editor and a group of associate editors, who are drawn from academic and research institutions worldwide, guide the content of the Journal.AJEV was first published in 1950 as a single proceedings volume by the American Society of Enologists, founded by a group of University of California researchers and California winemakers, with further yearly proceedings published in 1951 to 1953. In 1954 the first issue of the American Journal of Enology was published, and in 1955 quarterly publication began. The Journal was renamed the American Journal of Enology and Viticulture in 1966. Linguistics and Education is an international peer-reviewed journal that welcomes submissions from across the world that advance knowledge, theory, or methodology at the intersections of linguistics and education. The journal is concerned with the role played by language and other communicative/semiotic systems in mediating opportunities for learning and participation in a globalized world. Research published in the journal engages with the complexities and changing realities of educational contexts and practices, focusing on all levels of formal education, as well as a wide variety of informal learning contexts throughout the lifespan and across modes, genres and technologies.

Linguistics and Education encourages submissions that incorporate theories and methodologies from all traditions of linguistics and language study to explore any aspect of education. Areas of study at the intersection of linguistics and education include, but are not limited to: sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, conversation analysis, linguistic anthropology, ethnography of communication, language socialization, narrative studies, gesture/sign/visual forms of communication, social semiotics, literacy studies, language policy, language ideology, functional grammar or text/corpus linguistics.

Linguistics and Education is a research-oriented journal. Papers may address practical and policy implications for education but must be built on robust research and have a strong conceptual grounding in their analyses and discussions. Linguistics and Education welcomes papers from across disciplinary and interdisciplinary research traditions that reflect principled application of qualitative, quantitative or mixed methodological paradigms and research designs (e.g. case studies, ethnographic fieldwork, experimental/semi-experimental studies, etc.). The IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Electromagnetics, Antennas and Propagation (JSTEAP) is a newly launched journal co-sponsored by the Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S), Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S), and the Communications Society (ComSoc). The focus of JSTEAP is on contributions that bridge the gaps between electromagnetics, communications, and microwave technology and manuscripts incorporating at least two of these aspects are particularly encouraged. All types of contributions are welcome including theory, experimental results, designs, applied engineering innovations, surveys, tutorials and reviews. Each issue of JSTEAP is devoted to a specific technical topic and this provides to JSTEAP readers a collection of up-to-date papers on that topic. These issues are expected to become valuable references to the research community.

Since its inception in 1912, Isis has featured scholarly articles, research notes and commentary on the history of science, medicine, and technology, and their cultural influences.
