The International Journal of Speech Technology is a research journal that focuses on speech technology and its applications. It promotes research and description on all aspects of speech input and output, including theory, experiment, testing, base technology, applications.

The journal is an international forum for the dissemination of research related to the applications of speech technology as well as to the technology itself as it relates to real-world applications. Articles describing original work in all aspects of speech technology are included. Sample topics include but are not limited to the following: applications employing digitized speech, synthesized speech or automatic speech recognition

This is the only journal which presents papers on both the base technology and theory as well as all varieties of applications. It encompasses all aspects of the three major technologies: text-to-speech synthesis, automatic speech recognition and stored (digitized) speech.

Although sport nutrition represents a distinct field of academic and applied work, it receives input from—and makes contributions to—such fields as nutrition, physiology, biochemistry, psychology, clinical medicine, and the sport and exercise sciences. Since its inception, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition provided a forum for those studying sport nutrition from a variety of perspectives. At the same time, exercise biochemists have been studying the metabolic responses and adaptations to physical activity, creating an overlap between the two areas of study. Recognizing the maturity and interdependence of these two scientific disciplines, the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism (IJSNEM) was created. The journal is designed to provide a forum for the publication of both scholarly and applied work relating to the nutritional, biochemical, and molecular aspects of exercise science.IJSNEM publishes original scientific investigations and scholarly reviews offering new insights into sport nutrition and exercise metabolism, as well as articles focusing on the application of the principles of biochemistry, physiology, and nutrition to sport and exercise. Original research with human subjects will be emphasized, although relevant research with experimental animals may be submitted. Case studies that demonstrate systematic, rather than casual, observation made with appropriate instrumentation, and articles with clinical application will be included. The journal will continue to offer editorials, digests of related articles from other fields, research notes, and reviews of books, videos, and other media releases.

The International Journal of Thermal Sciences is a journal devoted to the publication of fundamental studies on the physics of transfer processes in general, with an emphasis on thermal aspects and also applied research on various processes, energy systems and the environment. The Canadian Journal of Development Studies provides an interdisciplinary, bilingual forum for critical research and reflection upon development theory and the complex problems of development policy and practice. CJDS publishes peer-reviewed articles and review essays, and the journal aims to keep readers informed with commentaries, practical notes and reviews of recently published books on development. The CJDS is international in its outlook and encourages contributions from scholars and practitioners across the world, while, as a Canadian journal, having a particular concern for Canada's role in international development policy making and practice. Submissions are invited in English or in French. We welcome theoretical papers, particularly if they offer thought-provoking interdisciplinary analysis; preference is given, however, to articles based on empirical research, case studies, or field work having significant implications for development planning and policy. We welcome contributions from all areas of development studies but require that papers are written in a way that is accessible to a multi-disciplinary audience. Use of disciplinary jargon is discouraged. Papers which use econometric evidence should do so sparingly and ensure that the results are explained. We also welcome short, incisive articles concerning current development practice, policies or teaching, or which open a dialogue on questions raised in earlier issues of the CJDS.Founded in 1980, the CJDS remains the only Canadian scholarly journal devoted exclusively to the study of international development.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science (ISSN 1672-3597, CN 31-1908/R) is a journal with an international scope, focusing on the popularization of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture- moxibustion culture, the promotion of international exchanges and the prosperity of clinical Chinese medicine and acupuncture-moxibustion. Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science mainly involves clinical practice and emphasizes the presentation of the detailed methods of observing and treating clinical common diseases on which acupuncture-moxibustion has a good effect. The articles are characterized by practicality, briefness and reproducibility. The main contents include the experiences of senior TCM doctors, forum on special diseases, clinical reports, brief reports, education series, terminology and brief introduction to new books. Communications regarding Academy activities are also appropriate.

Specifically, the journal focuses on:
(i) Theoretical issues relating to development of trade and African trade in particular;
(ii) Policy and institutional matters relating to the development of African trade and trade finance; and
(iii) Other contemporary issues of relevance to the development of global and African trade and trade Finance.

Though the foregoing constitute the primary focus of the Journal, papers relevant to trade and trade facilitation as well as other socio-economic issues, as they relate to social and economic development in Africa in general, will also be covered by JAT. The JAT seeks to facilitate greater understanding of the role of trade and trade-related issues in the process of economic development in Africa.

The Journal of Drug Issues (JDI) was incorporated as a nonprofit entity in the State of Florida in 1971. In 1996, JDI was transferred to the Florida State University College of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and the Richard L. Rachin Endowment was established to support its continued publication. Acta Linguistica Hafniensia evolved as the voice of the Linguistic Circle of Copenhagen. Our aim today is both to carry forward that tradition, emphasizing areas such as functional linguistics, cognitive linguistics, and sociolinguistics, but also phonology and formal linguistics, in all of which vigorous research is being carried out by Danish linguists, while at the same time expanding the international scope of the journal as a broad journal of General Linguistics. One of the ways in which we seek to pursue this dual aim is to alternate regular issues of the journal with thematic issues based on workshops organized by the Linguistic Circle in which articles by both Danish and international participants are presented on related subjects.
