Journal Guide

The  European Competition Journal publishes outstanding scholarly articles relating to European competition law and economics. Its mission is to help foster learning and debate about how European competition law and policy can continue to develop in an economically rational way. Articles published in the Journal are subject to rigorous peer review by leading experts from around Europe. Topics include:

The International Journal of Epidemiology is an essential requirement for anyone who needs to keep up to date with epidemiological advances and new developments throughout the world. It encourages communication among those engaged in the research, teaching, and application of epidemiology of both communicable and non-communicable disease, including research into health services and medical care. Also covered are new methods, epidemiological and statistical, for the analysis of data used by those who practise social and preventive medicine. The International Journal of Epidemiology is published six times yearly.

Review articles will also be considered for publication. In addition, we will print Target Articles for discussion, to which readers are invited to respond in the next issue of the journal.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double- blind and submission is made via e-mail to the Editor.

The European Journal of Population aims to improve understanding of population phenomena by giving priority to work that contributes to the development of theory and method, and that spans the boundaries between demography and such disciplines as sociology, anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, epidemiology and other sciences contributing to public health. Contributors come from around the world, and the coverage includes both European and non-European countries.The journal addresses a broad public of researchers, policy makers and others concerned with population processes and their consequences.

Folia Neuropathologica is an official journal of the Polish Association of Neuropathologists and the Medical Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The journal appears every three months and publishes reviews on invitation, editorials, original articles and short communications from the entire field of clinical and experimental neuropathology and related neurosciences. These papers may be descriptive, experimental or methodological. Only original papers written in English are accepted for publication. The journal is abstracted and indexed in: Index Medicus/MEDLINE, Neuroscience Citation Index, SciSearch, Research Alert, Chemical Abstracts, EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, Polish Medical Bibliography, Index Copernicus.

The GE – Portuguese Journal of Gastroenterology (formerly Jornal Português de Gastrenterologia), founded in 1994, is the official publication of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Gastrenterologia (Portuguese Society of Gastroenterology), Sociedade Portuguesa de Endoscopia Digestiva (Portuguese Society of Digestive Endoscopy), and Associação Portuguesa para o Estudo do Fígado (Portuguese Association for the Study of the Liver).
The journal publishes clinical and basic research articles on gastroenterology, digestive endoscopy, hepatology, and related topics. Review articles, clinical case studies, images, letters to the editor, and other articles such as recommendations or papers on gastroenterology clinical practice are also considered. Only articles written in English are accepted.

The journal provides up-to-date information to clinicians and scientists through the publication of original papers, reviews, case reports, and brief communications dealing with the pathogenesis and treatment of orthopaedic conditions.
