Urban Forestry and Urban Greening
Urban Forestry and Urban Greening is a refereed, international journal aimed at presenting high-quality research with urban and peri-urban woody and non-woody vegetation and its use, planning, design, establishment and management as its main topics. Urban Forestry and Urban Greening concentrates on all tree-dominated (as joint together in the urban forest) as well as other green resources in and around urban areas, such as woodlands, public and private urban parks and gardens, urban nature areas, street tree and square plantations, botanical gardens and cemeteries.The journal welcomes fundamental and applied research papers, as well as review papers and short communications. Veterinary Parasitology
This journal is concerned with those aspects of helminthology, protozoology and entomology which are of interest to animal health investigators, veterinary practitioners and others with a special interest in parasitology. Papers of the highest quality dealing with all aspects of disease prevention, pathology, treatment, epidemiology, and control of parasites in all domesticated animals, fall within the scope of the journal. Papers of geographically limited (local) interest which are not of interest to an international audience will not be accepted. Authors who submit papers based on local data will need to indicate why their paper is relevant to a broader readership.Parasitological studies on laboratory animals fall within the scope of the journal only if they provide a reasonably close model of a disease of domestic animals. Additionally the journal will consider papers relating to wildlife species where they may act as disease reservoirs to domestic animals, or as a zoonotic reservoir. Case studies considered to be unique or of specific interest to the journal, will also be considered on occasions at the Editors' discretion. Papers dealing exclusively with the taxonomy of parasites do not fall within the scope of the journal.Studies on rickettsial disease organisms (Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Eperythrozoon) will be considered for publication in Veterinary Parasitology, but only if the paper deals with vector transmission of these organisms to domesticated animals, or if zoonotic. Language and Cognitive Processes
Language and Cognitive Processes provides an international forum for the publication of theoretical and experimental research into the mental processes and representations involved in language use. The psychological study of language has attracted increasing research interest over the past three decades, and Language and Cognitive Processes provides a common focus for this enterprise. The journal is also interested in fostering the relationship between cognitive theoretical accounts of language and its neural bases. From 2009, a Special Section of each volume is devoted to the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language to highlight the strong interest in the growing influence of cognitive neuroscience methodologies.The journal emphasises the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to the study of language. Apart from research in experimental and developmental psychology, Language and Cognitive Processes publishes work derived from linguistics, philosophy, cognitive neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience and computational modelling. Contributions are accepted in the form of experimental and observational studies, theoretical discussions, short notes and replies, and review articles. Research papers must clearly explain the theoretical background, hypotheses to be tested and the theoretical interpretation of the results. As a prominent example, the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) was established in 2000 as the newest institute in the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. Disability and Rehabilitation: Assistive Technology
Disability and Rehabilitation: Assistive Technology along with Disability and Rehabilitation seek to encourage a better understanding of all aspects of disability and to promote rehabilitation science, practice and policy aspects of the rehabilitation process. Taken together, both journals represent an important forum for the dissemination and exchange of ideas amongst global health practitioners and researchers.
The mission of Disability and Rehabilitation: Assistive Technology is to advance the practice and science of interdisciplinary and integrative assistive technology service delivery and product design internationally so that persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and challenges to the performance of activities and participation in life roles, achieve enhanced functioning and life quality.
Assistive technology focuses on both equipping individuals with the most appropriate technologies and also removing barriers to functioning that exist in the environment. Topics range from everyday/mainstream to specialized devices, and include: exoskeltons and robotics; smart homes; information and communication technologies and computerized systems; ergonomics; universal design; ambient assistive technology; telerehabilitation; job and environmental accommodations; and methods of service delivery.
Disability and Rehabilitation: Assistive Technology is an international and multidisciplinary journal, published six times a year. The Journal publishes review articles and original research on assistive technology devices, services, user experiences, education and training, and policies. The journal also publishes supplements, special issues and special sections. Because the field is broad, submissions include experimental investigations, survey research, case studies, systematic reviews and product development and testing. Theoretical and conceptual papers and the discussion of professional issues and international/national policies and standards are also published.

Child Abuse Review
Child Abuse Review provides a forum for all professionals working in the field of child protection, giving them access to the latest research findings, practice developments, training initiatives and policy issues. The Journal's remit includes all forms of maltreatment, whether they occur inside or outside the family environment. Papers are written in a style appropriate for a multidisciplinary audience and those from outside Britain are welcomed. The Journal maintains a practice orientated focus and authors of research papers are encouraged to examine and discuss implications for practitioners. By always emphasising research/practice links, it is the Editors' aim to promote practice relevant research and to facilitate the use of research findings, to enhance good practice and influence policy. The Editorial Board, in all its activities, seeks to prevent discrimination on the grounds of age, gender, racial origin, culture, religious belief, language, disability, economic status or political views. Military Psychology
Content: Military Psychology is the quarterly journal of Division 19 (Society for Military Psychology) of the American Psychological Association. The journal seeks to facilitate the scientific development of military psychology by encouraging communication between researchers and practitioners. The domain of military psychology is the conduct of research or practice of psychological principles within a military environment. The journal publishes behavioral science research articles having military applications in the areas of clinical and health psychology, training and human factors, manpower and personnel, social and organizational systems, and testing and measurement. Topics of major concern to military psychology will be covered in special journal issues. Military Psychology is international in scope, and the editors encourage submission of articles that address research being carried out in a variety of national settings. Contributions will be considered for publication in the following categories: Research Articles: Reports of empirical research. Notes: Brief articles describing work that is largely confirmatory, advances in knowledge arising as by-products of broader studies, or new research techniques and methodologies. Reviews: Scholarly integrations of individual areas of empirical research. Communications: Information on policies and trends that affect the support and direction of research in military psychology.
