Channels is the first international peer-reviewed journal to focus exclusively on all aspects of ion channel and ion transporter/exchanger function. This includes papers on biophysics, structure, molecular biology, structure-function analysis, and regulation of channels and ion transport proteins, as well as their roles in health and disease. The main aim of the journal is to publish scientific work on the role of molecular asymmetry in both biologically active and non-biologically active molecules in respect to their pharmacological, biological, and chemical properties.
