Sikh Formations: Religion, Culture and Theory was founded to understand Sikhs, Sikhism, and Sikh Identity within the context of a new and dynamic setting that embraces globalisation, trans-nationalism, and other related processes. Papers in Applied Geography publishes three types of articles. Research articles consist of regular length journal articles that are scholarly contributions to the literature of applied geography. Application articles consist of short papers that discuss the applications of geographical concepts, theories, models or methods to solve practical problems in societies. Technical notes are contributions to present new methods or improvement of existing methods in geography.

The editors invite submissions that emphasize the application of theories or concepts in geography in search of solutions to practical problems our society faces. They also welcome contributions to effective applications of models or analytical methods in geography to the understanding of geographic phenomena and their processes in space and over time.

Philosophical Psychology is an international journal devoted to developing and strengthening the links between philosophy and the psychological sciences, both as basic sciences and as employed in applied settings, by publishing original, peer-refereed contributions to this expanding field of study and research. The Forensic Psychology & Psychiatry Arena This journal promotes the study and application of psychological approaches to crime, criminal and civil law, and the influence of law on behavior. Applied Surface Science covers topics contributing to a better understanding of applications of surfaces, interfaces, and nanostructures. We are particularly interested in theoretical work and applications that are targeted at urban management in, but not limited to, Mainland China and Taiwan. The term urban management is defined broadly here to cover studies and research in planning, administering, regulating, and governing (PARG) urban complexity. The urban phenomena that are of interest cut across ecological, physical, economic, political, and social settings, with a belief that these settings interact with each other and should be treated as a whole. The JUM publishes two issues per year and we accept manuscripts throughout the year.

This journal is unique in that it provides a forum devoted to the interdisciplinary study of language and communication. The investigation of language and its communicational functions is treated as a concern shared in common by those working in applied linguistics, child development, cultural studies, discourse analysis, intellectual history, legal studies, language evolution, linguistic anthropology, linguistics, philosophy, the politics of language, pragmatics, psychology, rhetoric, semiotics, and sociolinguistics.The journal invites contributions which explore the implications of current research for establishing common theoretical frameworks within which findings from different areas of study may be accommodated and interrelated. Life Writing, one of the leading journals in the field of biography and autobiography, has the unique and unusual policy of carrying both scholarly articles and critically informed personal narrative. The journal has three sections: Academic Articles, 8220;Reflections8221; and Reviews. In the Reflections section, we hope to find the reflective/discursive voice leading the minor theme of the autobiographical. However, fiction, ficto-memoir and poetry are not accepted.
