Continental Shelf Research publishes articles dealing with the physical oceanography, sedimentology, geology, chemistry, biology and ecology of the shallow marine environment, from coastal and estuarine water out to the shelf break. Papers that are published present results from both fundamental, original research as well as applied, or directed research.Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary process-oriented contributions, and encouragement is given to the publication of the results of innovative experimental studies with more general applicability.Continental Shelf Research publishes occasional review articles. It also includes a section on Notes, Instrumentation and Methods. Furthermore, papers are open for written discussion for up to three months following publication and both the discussion and the author's response are published.Continental Shelf Research also publishes special issues dedicated to results of large interdisciplinary studies or topical issues on specific subjects.Note to Authors: When considering submission of a manuscript to CSR, bear in mind that recent analyses show that published papers are downloaded by scientists from over 90 countries world-wide. This level of usage emphasizes the need for authors to present their research results in a broad context, to be of interest to this international community. The Teaching Artist Journal (TAJ) provides an authoritative, timely, ongoing professional development resource to clarify, enrich, and advance Teaching Artist research and practice. Teaching Artists--professionals with skills in both teaching and the arts--have uniquely powerful perspectives, practices, and skills. Technology in Cancer Research and Treatment (TCRT) welcomes manuscripts from active investigators involved in technologies devoted to early diagnosis, treatment, and palliation of cancer. TCRT will include both experimental and theoretical investigations. Among the topics that will be covered are MRI, including functional MRI, spiral CT, PET, optical spectroscopy, computer-aided reconstruction of tumors, computer-aided drug design, stereotactic radiosurgery, cryosurgery, brachytherapy, electroporation, photodynamic therapy, gene therapy, cancer vaccine, proteomics, and genomics, as they impact cancer research and treatment. Special emphasis will be given to non-invasive techniques. TCRT publishes original articles, express communications, opinion pieces, and timely reviews. The objective of the American Journal of Primatology is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and findings among primatologists and to convey our increasing understanding of this order of animals to specialists and interested readers alike. Primatology is an unusual science in that its practitioners work in a wide variety of departments and institutions, live in countries throughout the world, and carry out a vast range of research procedures. Whether we are anthropologists, psychologists, biologists, or medical researchers, whether we live in Japan, Kenya, Brazil, or the United States, whether we conduct naturalistic observations in the field or experiments in the lab, we are united in our goal of better understanding primates. Our studies of nonhuman primates are of interest to scientists in many other disciplines ranging from entomology to sociology. The American Journal of Primatology welcomes for consideration manuscripts from all areas of primatology. This includes but is not limited to the behavioral ecology, conservation, evolutionary biology, life history, demography, paleontology, physiology, endocrinology, genetics, molecular genetics, and psychobiology of the nonhuman primates. As well as publishing in established areas, we seek submissions on new and developing types of primate studies. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews and commentaries. Proposals for special issues on a particular theme are also welcomed, and may be guest edited. The American Journal of Primatology is the official journal of the American Society of Primatologists. Anthropology Southern Africa is the peer-reviewed journal of the Anthropology Southern Africa association. Formerly the Journal of South African Ethnology (1994-2001), the journal changed name and focus in 2002. The journal aims to promote anthropology in Southern Africa, to support ethnographic and theoretical research, and to provide voices to public debates. Anthropology Southern Africa is committed to contemporary perspectives in social and cultural anthropology and in relevant interdisciplinary scholarship. It looks at the current conditions in Southern African, African, and Global societies,   taking into consideration varied challenges such as the politics of difference, or poverty and dignity. Asia-Pacific Psychiatry is an international psychiatric journal focused on the Asia and Pacific Rim region, and is the official journal of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrics. The Journal of Applied Econometrics is an international journal published bi-monthly, plus 1 additional issue (total 7 issues). Molecular Medicine is the international, peer-reviewed, biomedical journal published by the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research (New York). Molecular Medicine strives to understand normal body functioning and disease pathogenesis at the molecular level, which may allow researchers and physician-scientists to use that knowledge in the design of specific molecular tools for disease diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention. Manuscripts submitted to the journal should maintain this focus and describe the implications for human disease, at a level approachable by the broad readership of Molecular Medicine.
