The journal offers rapid publication of review articles on topics of current interest and importance in coordination chemistry. The term coordination chemistry is interpreted broadly, and includes aspects of organometallic, theoretical and bioinorganic chemistry. In general the reviews survey developments in a particular area during the last few years, or discuss the results obtained with a particular technique.Special issues are published from time to time on topics of current interest and importance. These special issues may also focus on contributions from a specific country or area of the world, or contain the proceedings of invited lectures to major international conferences. Full book length articles also appear occasionally. The journal also incorporates special volumes containing annual reviews of main group chemistry, on transition metal group chemistry, and on organometallic chemistry. Good reviews are essential educational tools for those working in inorganic chemistry. Coordination Chemistry Reviews will continue to act as a focal point for informative critical surveys of inorganic and physical inorganic chemistry.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Statistics publishes theoretical and applied papers related to the different fields of statistics such as regression and variance analysis, design of experiments, foundations of statistical inference, statistical decision theory, testing hypotheses, parameter estimation, nonparametric methods, sequential procedures, time series and statistical problems for stochastic processes, and statistical data analysis. It is expected that the papers give interesting and novel contributions to statistical theory and its applications at a good mathematical level. The results should be presented in form of theorems together with their mathematical proofs, which should not be merely routine calculations. Additionally, the discussion of results and their value for the theory or for applications could be a valuable addition, as well as numerical results on the efficiency or examples for the application of the theoretical results. The activities of Trans Tech Publications Inc. began back in 1967 when the first volume of the now famous "Diffusion Data" series was published. The series was later enlarged, and renamed "Diffusion and Defect Data", and this year it celebrated the publication of its 400th volume; a number which is now added to at the rate of 24 volumes per year.Since 1967 when the first volume of "Diffusion Data" was published, Trans Tech Publications Inc. has grown steadily and is now active in a wide range of disciplines:Materials Science and Technology is still our most important field of activity and the periodicals, "Materials Science Forum", "Key Engineering Materials", "Defect and Diffusion Forum" and "Solid State Phenomena", "Advanced Materials Research", "Applied Mechanics and Materials", "Journal of Nano Research" and "Advances in Science and Technology", offer more than 35,000 pages of high-class research results per year. Each one of these periodicals is available online in full text via our well-known www.scientific.net platform. The site currently features 10 periodicals and over 355,000 pages of highly scientific research. In 1998 we started our monograph series "Materials Science Foundations" which has since then published over 25 titles. Each monograph is treating its chosen topic exhaustively, and seeks in particular to draw together the strands of current theory and industrial practice. In order to serve the world's science and engineering community better, Trans Tech Publications Inc. - has established offices in Switzerland, the UK and the United States of America, and our products are available via numerous agents and distributors in all parts of the world. In all of the fields in which we are active, we pride ourselves on being well-accepted by our readers, authors and editors of conference proceedings alike.

The Anatomical Record: Advances in Integrative Anatomy and Evolutionary Biology, an official publication of the American Association of Anatomists, publishes new discoveries in the morphological aspects of molecular, cellular, systems, and evolutionary biology. The journal focuses on major new findings in the anatomical consequences of gene disruption, activation, or over expression upon cell, tissue, or organ architecture and also recognizes the importance of descriptive studies in contemporary research, particularly when framed in the context of experimental models or questions. Another important priority will be those discoveries and new advances made through the use of imaging modalities ranging from those that image real-time signaling processes to ones that image protein or gene expression in individual cells, tissues, or whole organisms. Papers are accepted dealing with functional morphology of any vertebrate organ system including those with a developmental, comparative, or evolutionary theme. The area of coverage is directed primarily to the organ or system level, where descriptive studies of normal and abnormal development become an important consideration in characterizing phenotypes. In addition, timely reviews of important topics related to Anatomy and its subdisciplines are regularly included. The criteria of acceptance of all papers are the quality of the research, its originality and significance to our readership. The abstracts and proceedings of the annual meeting of the American Association of Anatomists is also published in The Anatomical Record. No paper that has appeared previously will be accepted nor will simultaneous publication elsewhere be allowed.

Policy making and implementation, planning and management are widely recognized as central to effective health systems and services and to better health. Globalization, and the economic circumstances facing groups of countries world-wide, meanwhile present a great challenge for health planning and management. The aim of this quarterly journal is to offer a forum for publications which direct attention to major issues in health policy, planning and management. The intention is to maintain a balance between theory and practice, from a variety of disciplines, fields and perspectives. The Journal is explicitly international and multidisciplinary in scope and appeal: articles about policy, planning and management in countries at various stages of political, social, cultural and economic development are welcomed, as are those directed at the different levels (national, regional, local) of the health sector. Manuscripts are invited from a spectrum of different disciplines e.g., (the social sciences, management and medicine) as long as they advance our knowledge and understanding of the health sector. The Journal is therefore global, and eclectic. Editorial Policy The Editors welcome contributions from teachers, researchers, policy-makers and practitioners, whose knowledge, skills and visions bear broadly on the planning and management of the health sector. The overriding criterion for full-length manuscripts is originality, a high scholarly quality, and genuine interest to a wide audience. In addition to publishing original articles, the Editors encourage submission of: review articles; short notes on conceptual difficulties and technical developments; summaries of published research findings; book reviews; news of forthcoming colloquia; and summary proceedings of important national and international symposia falling within the aims and scope of the Journal. 2009 Impact Factor: 0.658 ((C) ISI Journal Citation Reports 2010).

The relevant parasites include protozoa, nematodes, cestodes and trematodes which are transmitted by food or water and capable of infecting humans. Pertinent food includes products of animal or plant origin which are domestic or wild, and consumed by humans. Animals and plants from both terrestrial and aquatic sources are included, as well as studies related to potable and other types of water which serve to harbor, perpetuate or disseminate food and waterborne parasites.
Studies dealing with prevalence, transmission, epidemiology, risk assessment and mitigation, including control measures and test methodologies for parasites in food and water are of particular interest.
Evidence of the emergence of such parasites and interactions among domestic animals, wildlife and humans are of interest. The impact of parasites on the health and welfare of humans is viewed as very important and within scope of the journal. Manuscripts with scientifically generated information on associations between food and waterborne parasitic diseases and lifestyle, culture and economies are also welcome. Studies involving animal experiments must meet the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research Involving Animals as issued by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences.
The primary form of publication in the journal is a full-length paper describing scientifically-sound original research studies. Less than full-length publications include Brief Communications of original research findings, and Investigative Reports describing studies of unique single cases or widespread outbreaks. Review articles on specific high profile topics, emerging or strategic issues may be solicited for publication, but requests for such submissions may also be made. Topical review articles based on keynote presentations at conferences or workshops will be considered.
