The journal topics covered include:
The Journal of ISAKOS (JISAKOS) is an online only orthopaedics journal that synthesizes the latest research and evidence-based guidelines in orthopaedic sports medicine and traumatology — including joint disorders — to provide busy orthopaedic surgeons and specialists a thorough reference for diagnosing and treating patients.
The Journal of Immunological Methods is devoted to covering techniques for: (1) Quantitating and detecting antibodies and/or antigens. (2) Purifying immunoglobulins, lymphokines and other molecules of the immune system. (3) Isolating antigens and other substances important in immunological processes. (4) Labelling antigens and antibodies. (5) Localizing antigens and/or antibodies in tissues and cells. (6) Detecting, and fractionating immunocompetent cells. (7) Assaying for cellular immunity. (8) Documenting cell-cell interactions. (9) Initiating immunity and unresponsiveness. (10) Transplanting tissues. (11) Studying items closely related to immunity such as complement, reticuloendothelial system and others. (12) Molecular techniques for studying immune cells and their receptors. (13) Imaging of the immune system. (14) Methods for production or their fragments in eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. In addition the journal will publish articles on novel methods for analysing the organization, structure and expression of genes for immunologically important molecules such as immunoglobulins, T cell receptors and accessory molecules involved in antigen recognition, processing and presentation. Submitted full length manuscripts should describe new methods of broad applicability to immunology and not simply the application of an established method to a particular substance - although papers describing such applications may be considered for publication as a short Technical Note. Review articles will also be published by the Journal of Immunological Methods. In general these manuscripts are by solicitation however anyone interested in submitting a review can contact the Reviews Editor and provide an outline of the proposed review.A Computational Methods Section reflects the increasingly central role of sophisticated statistical and mathematical methods and computational models in the analysis, visualization, interpretation of the results of techniques and investigations within the general scope of the Journal. These methods can generally be divided into data-driven Immunomics methods involving high throughput assays or model-driven methods that provide a framework for data analysis, visualization, and interpretation. Descriptions of high-quality immunological databases are also of interest. This Section will publish papers that present important advances to current practice or new "gold standards" for mathematical and computational methods and analyses in the field of immunology. Areas of interest reflect the general areas of interest of the Journal, particularly novel methods for analyzing the organization, structure and expression of genes and proteins of immunologically important molecules such as immunoglobulins, T cell receptors, and various accessory molecules involved in antigen recognition, processing, and presentation, and inflammation.

The Journal of Infection and Public Health, first official journal of the Saudi Arabian National Guard Health Affairs , King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and the Saudi Association for Public Health, aims to be the foremost scientific, peer-reviewed journal encompassing infection prevention and control, microbiology, infectious diseases, public health and the application of healthcare epidemiology to the evaluation of health outcomes. The point of view of the journal is that infection and public health are closely intertwined and that advances in one area will have positive consequences on the other. The Journal will be useful to all health professionals who are partners in the management of patients with communicable diseases, keeping them up to date. The journal is proud to have an international and diverse editorial board that will assist and facilitate the publication of articles that reflect a global view on infection control and public health, as well as emphasizing our focus on supporting the needs of public health practitioners. It is our aim to improve healthcare by reducing risk of infection and related adverse outcomes by critical review, selection, and dissemination of new and relevant information in the field of infection control, public health and infectious diseases in all healthcare settings and the community. The Journal of Infection and Public Health will allow us to seek opportunities to work with others who share our aim, to enhance our work through partnership, and to uphold the standards of our profession and contribute to its advancement.

We are pleased to announce that an electronic submission and handling system, EES, has been implemented for Journal of Informetrics. This 'Elsevier Editorial System' (or EES) is a web-based system with full online submission, review and status update capabilities. EES allows you to upload files directly from your computer. This is all part of our ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our editorial procedures and the quality and timeliness of the manuscripts published. EES can be accessed at: http://ees.elsevier.com/joi/ where first time users will have to register.Journal of Informetrics (JOI) publishes refereed articles on fundamental quantitative aspects of information science. The journal, although limited to -metrics aspects, has a broad scope: in principle, all quantitative analysis of original problems in information science are within the scope of JOI. Besides its generality, Journal of Informetrics focusses on papers describing fundamental methods and theories and/or universally important data, gathered in a non-trivial way. Fundamental methods comprise mathematical, probabilistic or statistical models and techniques as well as methods in operational research. These methods can serve the quantitative explanation of certain phenomena, evaluation of information and its producers as well as the management of libraries and other information centres.Journal of Informetrics has a special (though not exclusive) interest in inter- and multi-disciplinary papers, dealing with common aspects of (or possible differences between) several neighbouring disciplines such as quantitative linguistics, econometrics, biometrics and other -metrics fields. The aim is to lower the barriers between these fields, hence avoiding reformulation of similar problems, theories and solutions. Journal of Informetrics also welcomes certain papers from researchers who do not consider themselves as informetrists, for example research papers would be considered on the graph-theoretic description of networks.Journal of Informetrics also publishes papers that improve standardisation in informetrics. In general the journal aims to contribute to increasing the degree of "hardness" of the field, and to increase the degree of "exactness" of the scientific field of informetrics. The journal covers informetrics and considers it to comprise (or at least to include) fields such as bibliometrics, scientometrics, webometrics and cybermetrics. Specific topics can be described (non-exhaustively) as follows: informetric laws (including, but not exclusively: Lotka, Zipf, Bradford, Mandelbrot but also laws of growth and ageing or obsolescence) hereby also modelling generalised bibliographies, aspects of inequality or concentration (e.g. Lorenz theory) and diffusion, citation theory, linking theory, downloads, indicators (definitions and properties), evaluation techniques for scientific output (literature, persons) and for documentary systems (information retrieval) incl. ranking theory, library management, graph-theoretic and topological analysis of networks (incl. Internet, intranets, citation and collaboration networks), visualisation and mapping of science (persons, fields, institutes, topics,...).
The Journal of Innovation and Knowledge (JIK) focuses on how we gain knowledge through innovation and how knowledge encourages new forms of innovation. Not all innovation leads to knowledge. Only enduring innovation that can be generalized across multiple fields creates theory and knowledge. JIK welcomes papers on innovations that improve the quality of knowledge or that can be used to develop knowledge. Innovation is a broad concept, covering innovation processes, structures, outcomes, antecedents, and behaviors at the organizational level in the private and public sectors as well as at the individual, national, and professional levels. JIK articles explore knowledge-related changes that introduce or encourage innovation to promote best practices within society.
The Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry is an established international forum for research in all aspects of Biological Inorganic Chemistry.
