The mission of Production and Operations Management is to serve as the flagship research journal in operations management in manufacturing and services. The journal publishes scientific research into the problems, interest, and concerns of managers who manage product and process design, operations, and supply chains. It covers all topics in product and process design, operations, and supply chain management and welcomes papers using any research paradigm.

Quality and Reliability Engineering International is a journal devoted to practical engineering aspects of quality and reliability. A refereed bimonthly technical journal, it covers the development and practical application of existing theoretical methods, research and industrial practices. Articles in the journal will be concerned with case studies, tutorial-type reviews and also with applications of new or well-known theory to the solution of actual quality and reliability problems in engineering.Papers describing the use of mathematical and statistical tools to solve real life industrial problems are encouraged, provided that the emphasis is placed on practical applications and demonstrated case studies.The scope of the journal is intended to include components, physics of failure, equipment and systems from the fields of electronic, electrical, mechanical and systems engineering. The areas of communications, aerospace, automotive, railways, shipboard equipment, control engineering and consumer products are all covered by the journal.Quality and reliability of hardware as well as software are covered. Papers on software engineering and its impact on product quality and reliability are encouraged. The journal will also cover the management of quality and reliability in the engineering industry.Special issues on a variety of key topics are published every year and contribute to the enhancement of Quality and Reliability Engineering International as a major reference in its field.

Queueing Systems: Theory and Applications (QUES) is a well-established journal focusing on the theory of resource sharing in a wide sense, particularly withina network context. The journal is primarily interested in probabilistic and statistical problems in this setting.QUES welcomes both papers addressing these issues in the context of some application and papers developing mathematical methods for their analysis. Among the latter, one would particularly quote Markov chains and processes, stationary processes, random graphs, point processes, stochastic geometry, and related fields.The prospective areas of application include, but are not restricted to production, storage and logistics, traffic and transportation, computer and communication systems.Officially cited as: Queueing Syst.The official acronym QUES is complemented by QUESTA which is popular among researchers.

RAIRO-Operations Research is an international journal devoted to high-level pure and applied research on all aspects of operations research. All papers published in RAIRO-Operations Research are critically refereed according to international standards. Any paper will either be accepted (possibly with minor revisions) either submitted to another evaluation (after a major revision) or rejected. Every effort will be made by the Editorial Board to ensure a quick turnaround to all papers submitted to the journal. Articles may be written in English or in French.

Research Policy (RP) articles examine empirically and theoretically the interaction between innovation, technology or research, on the one hand, and economic, social, political and organizational processes, on the other. All RP papers are expected to yield findings that have implications for policy or management.Aims and Scope:Research Policy (RP) is a multi-disciplinary journal devoted to analyzing, understanding and effectively responding to the economic, policy, management, organizational, environmental and other challenges posed by innovation, technology, R&D and science. Research in Transportation Business & Management (RTBM) will publish research on international aspects of transport management such as business strategy, communication, sustainability, finance, human resource management, law, logistics, marketing, franchising, privatisation and commercialisation.Research in Transportation Business & Management welcomes proposals for themed volumes from scholars in management, in relation to all modes of transport. Issues should be cross-disciplinary for one mode or single-disciplinary for all modes. We are keen to receive proposals that combine and integrate theories and concepts that are taken from or can be traced to origins in different disciplines or lessons learned from different modes and approaches to the topic. Scandinavian Actuarial Journal is a journal for actuarial sciences that deals, in theory and application, with mathematical methods for insurance and related matters. The bounds of actuarial mathematics are determined by the area of application rather than by uniformity of methods and techniques. Therefore, a paper of interest to Scandinavian Actuarial Journal may have its theoretical basis in probability theory, statistics, operations research, numerical analysis, computer science, demography, mathematical economics, or any other area of applied mathematics; the main criterion is that the paper should be of specific relevance to actuarial applications. It is the hope of the editors that the journal can promote progress in the development of actuarial methodology and the proliferation of established methods in practical actuarial work. A special workshop section is intended to stimulate cooperative efforts between practitioners and theoreticians to solve real-life actuarial problems. The workshop will be open for papers at any level of theoretical preparation, from mere descriptions of practical problems with pleas for help, via discussions and tentative solutions, to complete theoretical treatment of these problems. The journal also publishes survey articles and has a section for empirical studies. All articles are refereed. Scandinavian Actuarial Journal has been published since 1918. It is published for the Danish Society of Actuaries, the Actuarial Society of Finland, the Norwegian Society of Actuaries and the Swedish Society of Actuaries.

The Scandinavian Journal of Statistics is internationally recognised as one of the leading statistical journals in the world. It was founded in 1974 by four Scandinavian statistical societies. Today more than eighty per cent of the manuscripts are submitted from outside Scandinavia. It is an international journal devoted to reporting significant and innovative original contributions to statistical methodology, both theory and applications. The journal specializes in statistical modelling showing particular appreciation of the underlying substantive research problems. The emergence of specialized methods for analysing longitudinal and spatial data is just one example of an area of important methodological development in which the Scandinavian Journal of Statistics has a particular niche.
