The Journal of Leukocyte Biology (JLB) has its origins in the Journal of the Reticuloendothelial Society (JRES) and is today an increasingly highly recognized international journal reporting scientific advances in leukocyte biology.In 1922, Karl Albert Ludwig Aschoff (1866–1942) coined the term “reticuloendothelial system” (RES) [1]. The RES concept was introduced as early as 1914 by Kenji Kiyono (1855–1955). One of the most prominent characteristics of RES cells was their propensity for absorption and storage of vital stains in granular form that had been introduced into the blood in solution. .

Journal of Medical Entomology is published bimonthly in January, March, May, July, September, and November. The journal publishes reports on all phases of medical entomology and medical acarology, including the systematics and biology of insects, acarines, and other arthropods of public health and veterinary significance. In addition to full-length research articles, the journal publishes Reviews, interpretive articles in a Forum section, Short Communications, and Letters to the Editor.

Journal of Medical Virology provides a means of rapid publication of original scientific papers on fundamental as well as applied research concerning viruses affecting humans. These include reports describing the characterization, diagnosis, epidemiology, immunology and pathogenesis of human virus infections, as well as basic studies on virus morphology, genetics, replication and host-cell interactions.

The Journal of Microbiological Methods publishes scholarly and original articles, notes and review articles. These articles must include novel and/or state-of-the-art methods, or significant improvements to existing methods. Novel and innovative applications of current methods that are validated and useful will also be published. JMM strives for scholarship, innovation and excellence. The Journal of Neuroimmunology affords a forum for the publication of works applying immunologic methodology to the furtherance of the neurological sciences.
