Journal of Multicultural Counseling and Development (JMCD) is the official journal of the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD), a division of the American Counseling Association.

The Journal of Neurolinguistics is an international forum for the integration of the neurosciences and language sciences. JNL provides for rapid publication of novel, peer-reviewed research into the interaction between language, communication and brain processes. The focus is on rigorous studies of an empirical or theoretical nature and which make an original contribution to our knowledge about the involvement of the nervous system in communication and its breakdowns. Contributions from neurology, communication disorders, linguistics, neuropsychology and cognitive science in general are welcome. Published articles will typically address issues relating some aspect of language or speech function to its neurological substrates with clear theoretical import. Interdisciplinary work on any aspect of the biological foundations of language and its disorders resulting from brain damage is encouraged. Studies of normal subjects, with clear reference to brain functions, are appropriate. Group-studies on well defined samples and case studies with well documented lesion or nervous system dysfunction are acceptable. The journal is open to empirical reports and review articles. The Journal of Neurotherapy: Investigations in Neuromodulation, Neurofeedback and Applied Neuroscience provides an integrated, multidisciplinary perspective on clinically relevant research, treatment, and public policy for neuromodulation techniques and applied neuroscience. The Journal reviews important findings in these fields with a focus on electroencephalography (EEG), neurofeedback, quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG), repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) with a focus on treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders. The Journal of Neurotherapy: Investigations in Neuromodulation, Neurofeedback and Applied Neuroscience provides relevant findings from the diversity of disciplines involved in the study of neuromodulation and applied neuroscience and offers interpretive commentary to clarify this information. The only magazine-sized journal in this area that prints in color, the journal draws from expertise inside and outside of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR) to deliver material which integrates the diverse aspects of the field.

The Journal of Nonverbal Behavior publishes peer-reviewed original theoretical and empirical research papers on all major areas of nonverbal behavior. The coverage extends to paralanguage, proxemics, facial expressions, eye contact, face-to-face interaction, and nonverbal emotional expression, as well as other relevant topics which contribute to the scientific understanding of nonverbal processes and behavior.

The Journal of Occupational Health Psychology® publishes research, theory, and public policy articles in occupational health psychology, an interdisciplinary field representing a broad range of backgrounds, interests, and specializations. Occupational health psychology concerns the application of psychology to improving the quality of work life and to protecting and promoting the safety, health, and well-being of workers. The Journal has a threefold focus on the work environment, the individual, and the work–family interface. The Journal seeks scholarly articles, from both researchers and practitioners, concerning psychological factors in relationship to all aspects of occupational health and safety. Included in this broad domain of interest are articles in which work-related psychological factors play a role in the etiology of health problems articles examining the psychological and associated health consequences of work articles concerned with the use of psychological approaches to prevent or mitigate occupational health problems Special attention is given to articles with a prevention emphasis. Authors should consider the financial costs of identified problems and/or economic benefits of interventions they evaluate. Manuscripts dealing with issues of contemporary relevance to the workplace, especially with regard to minority, cultural, or occupationally underrepresented groups, or topics at the interface of the family and the workplace, are encouraged.

A quality peer-reviewed premium e-journal, the Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology has its history in the old South Pacific Journal of Psychology published between 1984 and 2005. The journal fills a void in contemporary psychology, with a focus on a region of the world that is extraordinarily vast, easily recognisable, and rich in cultural diversity and includes Oceania, Australasia, East Asia and the Western Seaboard of the Americas, and the 'hub' in the wheel - the Hawaiian Islands and other Pacific Island Nations. Journal of Personality publishes scientific investigations in the field of personality. It focuses particularly on personality and behavior dynamics, personality development, and individual differences in the cognitive, affective, and interpersonal domains. The journal reflects and stimulates interest in the growth of new theoretical and methodological approaches in personality psychology.

The Journal of Personality Assessment (JPA) primarily publishes articles dealing with the development, evaluation, refinement, and application of personality assessment methods. Desirable articles address empirical, theoretical, instructional, or professional aspects of using psychological tests, interview data, or the applied clinical assessment process. They also advance the measurement, description, or understanding of personality, psychopathology, and human behavior. JPA is broadly concerned with developing and using personality assessment methods in clinical, counseling, forensic, and health psychology settings; with the assessment process in applied clinical practice; with the assessment of people of all ages and cultures; and with both normal and abnormal personality functioning. Manuscripts focused on personality constructs or processes rather than their assessment ordinarily should be submitted elsewhere. We encourage articles addressing under-studied areas. These include (a) systematic reviews or meta-analyses that summarize a body of evidence, (b) the effective integration of nomothetic empirical findings with the idiographic requirements of practice in which the assessor reasons through test and extra-test information to make individualized judgments and provide assessment feedback, and (c) the practical value of the clinical assessment process on the individuals receiving services and/or those who refer them for evaluation.
