Interactional Linguistics aims to advance our understanding of this symbiotic relationship between language and social interaction, contributing to a more encompassing comprehension of what language is, in light of its use within the dynamics of social interaction. This fully peer-reviewed journal publishes original research that demonstrates how close scrutiny of linguistic structures as they occur in social interaction can deepen our appreciation of the functional and formal aspects of language, be it within a single language or cross-linguistically. The journal publishes qualitative and quantitative research and welcomes empirical as well as theoretical arguments.

Cultural & Social History is published on behalf of the Social History Society (SHS). Members receive the journal as part of their membership package. Journal of Macromarketing (JMK), peer-reviewed and published quarterly, examines important social issues, how they are affected by marketing, and how society influences the conduct of marketing. Though primarily a marketing journal, JMK also encompasses a wide range of social science and business disciplines, including management, economics, sociology, and history. JMK was recently accepted in the Social Science Citation Index. The Impact Factor is pending.

Youth & Society (Y&S), is peer-reviewed, published quarterly, and a multidisciplinary, global journal that focuses on issues related to the second decade of life. Transitional issues from childhood to adolescence and from adolescence to adulthood are also covered, as well as the social, contextual, and political factors that influence healthy and harmful adolescent development.

Asian Affairs covers the whole region of Asia - the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, South East Asia and East Asia. The Journal has a multi-disciplinary approach, which includes social, political and historical perspectives as well as contemporary affairs.

Editions of Asian Affairs generally consist of articles on specific countries, locales or historical episodes. Some articles are based on lectures to the Society. These and others are the fruit of academic research or the experiences of contributors. Biographical pieces and accounts of archaeological and historical travel have also been published. The editor welcomes contributions which fall within the overall framework of the Journal.

Asian Affairs also still maintains its character as a journal for Society members, with reports of Society activities and tours.

A substantial section of each issue consists of book reviews of new publications. The editor encourages offers to review relevant titles.

The Journal of Applied Econometrics is an international journal published bi-monthly, plus 1 additional issue (total 7 issues). It aims to publish articles of high quality dealing with the application of existing as well as new econometric techniques to a wide variety of problems in economics and related subjects, covering topics in measurement, estimation, testing, forecasting, and policy analysis. The emphasis is on the careful and rigorous application of econometric techniques and the appropriate interpretation of the results. The economic content of the articles is stressed. A special feature of the Journal is its emphasis on the replicability of results by other researchers. To achieve this aim, authors are expected to make available a complete set of the data used as well as any specialised computer programs employed through a readily accessible medium, preferably in a machine-readable form. The use of microcomputers in applied research and transferability of data is emphasised. The Journal also features occasional sections of short papers re-evaluating previously published papers. The intention of the Journal of Applied Econometrics is to provide an outlet for innovative, quantitative research in economics which cuts across areas of specialisation, involves transferable techniques, and is easily replicable by other researchers. Contributions that introduce statistical methods that are applicable to a variety of economic problems are actively encouraged. The Journal also aims to publish review and survey articles that make recent developments in the field of theoretical and applied econometrics more readily accessible to applied economists in general.

In recent years, the main force for research into modern Chinese history has been Chinese scholars, who up until this point have not had a Western outlet for their scholarship. The Institute of Modern History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences seeks to re-dress this with its international publication, the Journal of Modern Chinese History: a new platform for Chinese and foreign scholars to exchange ideas directly.Fully refereed and published twice a year, the journal focuses on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It aims to promote research on modern Chinese history by encouraging discussion of political, economic, ideological, cultural and military history. European Journal of East Asian Studies is a multi-disciplinary journal dedicated to East Asia, one of the most varied, complex, and rapidly changing parts of the world. Published in Europe by European specialists, the journal is open to new ideas and findings from wherever they may come. We welcome the submission of manuscripts in social sciences such as political science, economics, sociology and cultural studies (including but not limited to business studies, development studies, international relations, political economy,...). Articles can address the wider East Asian region (China, Japan, Korean Peninsular, Japan, Mongolia), including Southeast Asia (ASEAN countries but not Oceania/South Pacific). They may also study inter-regional relations involving the Asian region (such as Asia-Europe relations for instance), or sub-regions (such as Southeast Asia for example) and individual East Asian countries. The journal covers both 20th and 21st centuries with a clear contemporary focus.

Forum for Development Studies was established in 1974, and soon became the leading Norwegian journal for development research. While this position has been consolidated, Forum has gradually become an international journal, with its main constituency in the Nordic countries. The journal is owned by the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) and the Norwegian Association for Development Research.Forum aims to be a platform for development research broadly defined 8211; including the social sciences, economics, history and law. All articles are peer-reviewed. In order to maintain the journal as a meeting place for different disciplines, we encourage authors to communicate across disciplinary boundaries. Remote Sensing Letters is a peer-reviewed international journal committed to the rapid publication of articles advancing the science and technology of remote sensing as well as its applications. The journal originates from a successful section, of the same name, contained in the International Journal of Remote Sensing from 1983-2009. Articles may address any aspect of remote sensing of relevance to the journal's readership including, but not limited to, developments in sensor technology, advances in image processing and Earth-orientated applications, whether terrestrial, oceanic or atmospheric. Articles should make a positive impact on the subject by either contributing new and original information or through provision of theoretical, methodological or commentary material that acts to strengthen the subject. Aims and Scope

The Journal of Responsible Innovation ( JRI) provides a forum for discussions of the normative assessment and governance of knowledge-based innovation. JRI offers humanists, social scientists, policy analysts and legal scholars, and natural scientists and engineers an opportunity to articulate, strengthen, and critique the relations among approaches to responsible innovation, thus giving further shape to a newly emerging community of research and practice.  These approaches include ethics, technology assessment, governance, sustainability, socio-technical integration, and others. JRI intends responsible innovation to be inclusive of such terms as responsible development and sustainable development, and the journal invites comparisons and contrasts among such concepts. While issues of risk and environmental health and safety are relevant, JRI especially encourages attention to the assessment of the broader and more subtle human and social dimensions of innovation—including moral, cultural, political, and religious dimensions, social risk, and sustainability addressed in a systemic fashion.

JRI invites three kinds of written contributions: research articles of 6,000 to 10,000 words in length, inclusive of notes and references, that communicate original theoretical or empirical investigations; perspectives of approximately 2,000 words in length that communicate opinions, summaries, or reviews of timely issues, publications, cultural or social events, or other activities; and pedagogy, communicating in appropriate length experience in or studies of teaching, training, and learning related to responsible innovation in formal (e.g., classroom) and informal (e.g., museum) environments.

The Journal of Vocational Behavior publishes empirical and theoretical articles that expand knowledge of vocational behavior and career development across the life span.
