This is the official journal of the Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers (APAHC). It publishes clinical articles that reflect single-case design methodology; literature reviews that serve as a basis for new techniques, heuristic research challenges, or exemplary clinical material; and papers that address philosophical issues surrounding training models at different educational levels. The Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings is an international forum for the publication of peer-reviewed original papers on both applied and basic research as related to the work of psychologists in medical settings and with all patient groups. Coverage in the journal includes innovative training programs; special course materials; licensing, credentialing, and privileging in hospital practice; ethics; the role of psychologists in medical schools; professional practice matters; practice management; marketing and the politics of health care in general.

The Journal of Computational Electronics brings together research on the full spectrum of modeling and simulation of modern electronics. It addresses optical, electronic, mechanical, and quantum mechanical aspects of the field. Research into the underlying mathematical algorithms and computational details is also highlighted. In addition, the journal examines the related areas of molecular and biological systems in which the thrust is on transport, mechanical, and optical properties. Lastly, the journal draws special attention to the advances and challenges arising from applications in multiscale problems. Specific areas explored include semiconductor devices, optical devices, process simulation, nano-electro-mechanical systems, mathematical approaches, correlated areas, and open quantum systems.

The Journal of Developmental and Physical Disabilities is an interdisciplinary forum for original research and clinical reports drawn from a variety of fields serving persons with developmental and physical disabilities. The journal publishes research utilizing group comparisons as well as single-case experimental designs. Contents include case studies of particular clinical relevance or that describe innovative evaluation and intervention techniques as well as reviews and theoretical discussions that contribute substantially to our understanding of the problems and strengths of persons with developmental and physical disabilities. In response to the need for increased clinical and research endeavors with persons with developmental and physical disabilities, the journal is cross-categorical and unbiased methodologically.

The Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education, the official journal of the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators, publishes original manuscripts, reviews, and information about association activities. Its purpose is to provide a forum for consideration of issues and for exchange of information and ideas about research and practice in early childhood teacher education. The Journal of Education for Students Placed At Risk (JESPAR) is the only academic journal to date which provides quantitative and qualitative research focused exclusively on improving the education of students placed at risk. The Journal of Empirical Research on Human Research Ethics is a new journal that publishes empirical research and reviews of empirical literature on human research ethics. Empirical knowledge translates ethical principles into procedures appropriate to specific cultures, contexts, and research topics. By presenting such work, JERHRE aims to improve ethical problem solving in human research and provide an ongoing basis for the establishment of best practice guidelines. In addition, JERHRE seeks to create collaboration among institutions and researchers concerned about the responsible conduct of research by disseminating knowledge and information to foster the intelligent application of ethical principles in research contexts worldwide. The goals the journal promotes are respect and protection of human subjects and methodology to produce valid and ethical research.

Landscape is often described as a typical European theme, which is increasingly studied on a European level. However, there is no journal that focuses on the international dimensions of landscape and heritage. The Journal of European Landscapes fills this gap by stimulating and promoting both empirical research and reflexive thinking on the history and heritage of the landscapes of Europe.

It is important to understand landscapes on this international scale, as policies on landscape and heritage are increasingly influenced by economic interdependence, political integration and the politics of the European Union. Heritage, defined as present uses of the past, connects historical research with the practice of landscape planning and management.

Scholars increasingly use comparative approaches to landscape and heritage within disciplines with a spatial dimension, such as geography, archaeology, environmental humanities, landscape research and heritage studies. Also in research methods, there is growing international exchange.

The Journal of European Landscapes offers a platform for knowledge exchange on the historical and heritage aspects of rural, urban and industrial landscapes of Europe, particularly for comparative, international and contextualising approaches. Both contributions with historical and heritage perspectives are welcomed.

The Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance (JGAR) is a quarterly online journal run by an international Editorial Board that focuses on the global spread of antibiotic-resistant microbes. While there are several journals in the field of management and some in the field of health (including evaluation, policy, and social sciences), there is no journal focusing exclusively on health management and policy. Although most journals address scholars, there is a dearth of journals which are scholarly in their depth but address reflective practitioners as well as other concerned persons. The Journal of Health Management proposes to fill this gap. JIRD is an independent and internationally peer-reviewed journal in international relations and international political economy.
