The Journal of Public Health is an interdisciplinary publication for the discussion and debate of international public health issues, with a focus on European affairs. It describes the social and individual factors determining the basic conditions of public health, analyzing causal interrelations, and offering a scientifically sound rationale for personal, social and political measures of intervention. Coverage includes contributions from epidemiology, health economics, environmental health, management, social sciences, ethics, and law.

Informatics for Health & Social Care promotes evidence-based informatics as applied to the domain of health and social care. It showcases informatics research and practice within the many and diverse contexts of care; it takes personal information, both its direct and indirect use, as its central focus.The scope of the Journal is broad, encompassing both the properties of care information and the life-cycle of associated information systems.Consideration of the properties of care information will necessarily include the data itself, its representation, structure, and associated processes, as well as the context of its use, highlighting the related communication, computational, cognitive, social and ethical aspects.Consideration of the life-cycle of care information systems includes full range from requirements, specifications, theoretical models and conceptual design through to sustainable implementations, and the valuation of impacts. Empirical evidence experiences related to implementation are particularly welcome.Informatics in Health & Social Care seeks to consolidate and add to the core knowledge within the disciplines of Health and Social Care Informatics. The Journal therefore welcomes scientific papers, case studies and literature reviews. Examples of novel approaches are particularly welcome. Articles might, for example, show how care data is collected and transformed into useful and usable information, how informatics research is translated into practice, how specific results can be generalised, or perhaps provide case studies that facilitate learning from experience.The overriding goal of the Journal is to show how informatics contributes to the better delivery of care through the presentation of high-quality material, irrespective of whether it is oriented towards research or practice.

The Health Promotion Journal of Australia is the peer reviewed journal of the Australian Health Promotion Association.The purpose of the HPJA is to facilitate communication between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers involved in health promotion activities.Preference for publication is given to practical examples of policies, theories, strategies and programs which utilise educational, organisational, economic and/or environmental approaches to health promotion. The journal also publishes brief reports discussing programs, professional viewpoints, and guidelines for practice or evaluation methodology.

Iranian Journal of Environmental Health Science & Engineering (IJEHSE) is a quarterly scientific-research publication of Iranian Association of Environmental Health (IAEH). IJEHSE publishes refereed, original research papers and high qualified review papers on all aspects of environmental health science, engineering and management.

Journal of Correctional Health Care (JCHC) is a peer-reviewed, quarterly journal featuring original research, case studies, and best practices on issues important to correctional health care professionals. JCHC covers clinical health care, health services and support, personnel and staffing, ethical issues, clinical services, medical records, continuous quality improvement, risk management, and medical-legal issues.

Behavioral Sciences & the Law is a peer reviewed journal which provides current and comprehensive information from throughout the world on topics at the interface of the law and the behavioral sciences. The journal balances theoretical, mental health, legal, and research writings to provide a broad perspective on pertinent psycho-legal topics. Most issues are devoted primarily to one special topic, often presented from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. One special issue per year is specifically targeted toward 'International Perspectives' on the selected topic. In addition, one issue each year is devoted to miscellaneous research articles, special perspectives, book review/essays, adversarial forums, and articles of special concern to practitioners; such offerings are also published in other issues as space permits. The journal also appeals to clinicians, academics, researchers, and policy makers. Five issues are published per year, and articles are published in English.

The "Journal of Medical Internet Research" (JMIR; ISSN 1438-8871, Medline-abbreviation: J Med Internet Res) (founded in 1999, now in its' 22nd year!) is a leading health informatics and health services/health policy journal (ranked first by Impact Factor in these disciplines) focussing on digital health, data science, health informatics and emerging technologies for health, medicine, and biomedical research. JMIR was the first open access journal covering health informatics, and the first international scientific peer-reviewed journal on all aspects of research, information and communication in the healthcare field using Internet and Internet-related technologies; a broad field, which is known as "eHealth" [see also What is eHealth and What is eHealth (2)], or now also "digital health", which includes mHealth (mobile health). This field also has significant overlaps with what is called "consumer health informatics", health 2.0/medicine 2.0, or participatory medicine. This focus makes JMIR unique among other medical or medical informatics journals, which tend to focus on clinical informatics or clinical applications. As eHealth/mHealth is a highly interdisciplinary field we are not only inviting research papers from the medical sciences, but also from the computer, behavioral, social and communication sciences, psychology, library sciences, informatics, human-computer interaction studies, and related fields.

International Journal of Environmental Health Research (IJEHR) is devoted to rapid publication of research in environmental health, acting as a link between the diverse research communities and practitioners in environmental health. Original research papers, technical notes and review articles, both invited and submitted, will be included. The International Editorial Board and strict refereeing procedures ensure that the Journal maintains high scientific standards and international coverage. IJEHR publishes articles on all aspects of the interaction of the environment with human health. This interaction can broadly be divided into three areas: 1.
