Chemie der Erde, one of the oldest journals for geochemistry-related topics, promotes broad interdisciplinary discussion on chemical problems in the geosciences, geoecology and environmental sciences. REVISTA IBEROAMERICANA DE MICOLOGÍA (IberoAmerican Journal of Mycology), the official journal of the Spanish, Venezuelan and Argentinean Mycology Associations (Asociación Española de Micología, Asociación Venezolana de Micología and Asociación Argentina de Micología), considers for publication, original articles, reviews, Mycology Forum, editorials, special articles, notes, and letters to the editor. The IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Information Theory (JSAIT) publishes high quality technical papers on all aspects of Information Theory. The International Journal of the Commons (IJC) is an initiative of the International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC).

As an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed open-access journal, the IJC is dedicated to furthering the understanding of institutions for use and management of resources that are (or could be) enjoyed collectively. These resources may be part of the natural world (e.g. forests, climate systems, or the oceans) or they may emerge from social realities created by humans (e.g. the internet or (scientific) knowledge, for example of the sort that is published in open-access journals).

Using resources collectively is often believed to be problematic. In practice however, many cases can be found of common pool resources that are used in a sustainable way. The editors of the IJC welcome contributions from all scientific disciplines, from practitioners and policy makers. We hope that our interdisciplinary approach will contribute to creating a balanced and nuanced view of how common pool institutions actually emerge, develop and perform.

The Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics publishes papers in which combinatorics and algebra interact in a significant and interesting fashion. This interaction might occur through the study of combinatorial structures using algebraic methods, or the application of combinatorial methods to algebraic problems. The combinatorics might be enumerative, or involve matroids, posets, polytopes, codes, designs, or finite geometries. The algebra could be group theory, representation theory, lattice theory or commutative algebra, to mention just a few possibilities. The Journal of Ancient Near Eastern Religions (JANER) focuses on the religions of the Ancient Near East: Egypt, Mesopotamia, Syria-Palestine, and Anatolia, as well as adjacent areas under their cultural influence, from prehistory through the beginning of the common era. JANER defines Ancient Near Eastern civilization broadly as including not only the Biblical, Hellenistic and Roman world but also the impact of Near Eastern religions on the western Mediterranean. The Journal of Atmospheric Chemistry is devoted to the study of the chemistry of the Earth's atmosphere, with particular emphasis on the region below about 100 km.
