The RBPI publishes articles on themes related to International Relations (politics, economics, sociology, security, history, foreign policy, environment and other pressing matters of contemporary relevance), valuing inter-disciplinary approaches. The journal is receptive to a wide array of methodological traditions.

The journal covers disciplines and fields related to oil and gas prospecting, production, processing and utilization as well as that of other energy sources. The articles are either based on the scientific and technical activities of the French Petroleum Institute (IFP) or written by engineers, scientists and technicians from around the world.

Scientific and Technical Information Processing iis a refereed journal, that covers all aspects of the management and use of information technology in libraries and archives, information centres, and the information industry in general. Emphasis is on practical applications of new technologies and techniques for information analysis and processing.

The texts are published in English, German and French. The journal is published twice a year. Each article passes review process where reviewers have no information about the author of the text.

The American Biology Teacher is published by the National Association of Biology Teachers (Reston, VA). It is the official peer-reviewed journal of the National Association of Biology Teachers, issued nine times a year (monthly except June and July; November and December are combined).

Parenting: Science and Practice is a quarterly international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal that seeks to publish rigorous empirical, methodological, applied, review, theoretical, perspective, and policy pieces relevant to parenting; contributions from the humanities and biological sciences as well as the social sciences are invited. The journal also publishes notices of books and other publications or media representations relevant to a scientific approach to parenting. Departments Parenting: Science and Practice has five main departments: Inquiries about prospective submissions to any department should be addressed to the Editor (email: Marc_H_Bornstein@nih.gov). * Empirical Articles. The journal is principally committed to the publication of empirical articles. Creative, comprehensive, and clear reports that advance theory and the empirical base in the field of parenting studies are sought, and all modes of empirical research are invited: experimental, observational, ethnographic, textual, interpretive, and survey. * Reviews. Reviews of the literature may be empirically grounded or theoretical; they should be scholarly, integrative, and timely, synthesizing or evaluating an issue relevant to parenting. (Published reviews are sometimes accompanied by a small number of solicited commentaries from specialists in parenting as well as in allied fields.) * Statements. Statements provide a forum for the rapid dissemination of new hypotheses, fresh concepts, alternative methods, or emerging trends. Statements should be tightly reasoned and empirically grounded and must be cogent and succinct. Statements should not exceed 3,000 words in length. * Tutorials. Parenting publishes occasional tutorials that debut a new concept in parenting or explore the intersection of parenting with an academic specialty pertinent to parenting studies. These papers define the concept or the field, crystallize its major contributions, detail direct associations with parenting, and augur future directions of application. * Media Notices. Summaries and evaluations of books, periodicals, websites, and other media that concern themselves with parenting studies or practices will appear in the journal. Send relevant material to the Editor. Additional Features Thematic Issues Parenting: Science and Practice welcomes proposals for Thematic Issues. Thematic Issues need to have components that link together closely in some meaningful conceptual or theoretical way, and the proposer of a Thematic Issue becomes the Guest Editor. Thematic Issues may be invited or open competitions, but all submissions must be peer reviewed. Individuals interested in developing a Thematic Issue should send the Editor a brief proposal and justification. Some proposals may be more appropriate for the Monographs in Parenting series. The Journal welcomes contributions to the understanding and treatment of psychopathology. Such contributions may stem from various theoretical perspectives, such as learning theory, cognitive science, social psychology, developmental psychology, etc. The Journal primarily focuses on experimental tests of psychological approaches to psychopathology, though contributions from medicine, biology, sociology, or epidemiology may be published. The same holds for non-experimental approaches, which may occasionally be published if deemed relevant for the field of experimental psychopathology. Papers to be published generally focus on:•Theoretically or clinically relevant differences between specific patient groups and other groups, if experimentally tested;•Mechanisms that cause, perpetuate or reduce disorders;•Diagnostic or therapeutic proceduresParticipants in the studies may be patients, healthy subjects, or animals, depending on the relevance of the subject characteristics for the question to be answered.Clinical trials (RCTs and others) should be registered in an official trial register and the registration number should be reported. These studies should include a flow diagram according to the most recent CONSORT guidelines and a CONSORT checklist should accompany the submission. See http://www.consort-statement.org for the guidelines and forms.Studies testing hypotheses on characteristics of a disorder should not only include a non-patient control group, but also an appropriate clinical control group, to assess the specificity of the effect. We cannot guarantee acceptance of studies missing an appropriate clinical control group.Case studies, open trials, and pilot studies may be considered for publication in the Journal if they are unusually innovative.Consecutive case series with appropriate designs (i.e., contrasting at least two conditions; e.g. multiple baseline design) and appropriate statistical analyses are considered for publication.Replications are essential in science and are, to the present editor's opinion, often undervalued. Short reports of attempts to replicate experimental studies, whether successful, or failed, and whether applied or fundamental, are considered for publication, if appropriately powered. The maximum number of words is 2500 for these reports.All submissions will first be screened on the degree to which they match the Aims and Scope of the Journal.
