ACS ES&T Water is a high-quality specialist journal dedicated to water research and policy. This international, multidisciplinary journal publishes novel, high-impact, peer-reviewed research on all aspects of water quality, chemistry, treatment, protection, and sustainable use/reuse and supply. The Journal considers both marine and freshwater environments as well as water utilized for industrial and municipal applications. ACS ES&T Water's multi-disciplinary research focus also welcomes other water-related research fields. Manuscripts describing public policy and the underlying science utilized for decision making are also encouraged. Specific topics of interest may include (but are not limited to) the following areas:

• Water quality and the transformation, transport, and behavior of contaminants in aquatic environments (groundwater, surface water, snow/ice, precipitation, and marine water) and engineered systems
• Water/wastewater treatment and innovative technologies, including biological, physical, chemical, and natural processes
• Sustainable water supply, reuse, and integrated water resource management
• Industrial water systems and process water treatment
• Marine, estuarine, and freshwater biogeochemistry and ecology
• Direct and indirect impacts of climate change on water sustainability
• Remediation and restoration of natural aquatic systems
• Innovative technologies for water quality monitoring and spatial vulnerability assessments
• Modelling groundwater, surface water and marine flow and contaminant fate and transport
• Spatial data on global and local water supply and water quality monitoring data trends.

• Risk assessment and regulatory frameworks
• Life-cycle assessments and economic impact calculations, and social science implications

Peace Review is a quarterly, multidisciplinary, transnational journal of research and analysis, focusing on the current issues and controversies that underlie the promotion of a more peaceful world. Social progress requires, among other things, sustained intellectual work, which should be pragmatic as well as analytical. The results of that work should be ingrained into everyday culture and political discourse. We define peace research very broadly to include peace, human rights, development, ecology, culture and related issues. The task of the journal is to present the results of this research and thinking in short, accessible and substantive essays. Each issue develops a particular theme, however, we run both on-theme and off-theme essays.Project Censored Award Winner 2000For the year 2000, Peace Review was awarded Project Censored's Top 25 Most Censored Stories for not merely one, but two of its essays. The Journals of Gerontology were the first journals on aging published in the United States. The tradition of excellence in these peer-reviewed scientific journals, established in 1946, continues today. The Journals of Gerontology Series B publishes within its covers the Journal of Gerontology: Psychological Sciences and the Journal of Gerontology: Social Sciences.JOURNAL OF GERONTOLOGY: PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCES, Rosemary Blieszner, PhD, EditorPublishes articles on development in adulthood and old age that advance the psychological science of aging processes and outcomes. Articles in JG: PS have clear implications for theoretical or methodological innovation in the psychology of aging or contribute significantly to the empirical understanding of psychological processes and aging. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, attitudes, clinical applications, cognition, education, emotion, health, human factors, interpersonal relations, neuropsychology, perception, personality, physiological psychology, social psychology, and sensation. Applied research with theoretical significance is welcome. Manuscripts reporting work that relates behavioral aging to neighboring disciplines are also appropriate. The Journal publishes four types of articles: (a) reports of original research, (b) brief reports of original research, (c) invited reviews of cutting-edge work (New Directions in Aging Research), and (d) theoretical or methodological contributions. Criminal Justice Studies, a quarterly refereed journal, publishes articles that deal with substantive criminal justice and criminological issues. The journal welcomes all articles that are relevant to the issue of criminal justice, as well as those that may be outside the field but have relevancy to the topic of criminal justice. Articles that cover public administration, issues of public policy, as well as public affairs issues are welcome. The journal also publishes relevant literature reviews, research notes and summary reports of innovative research projects in criminal justice.Qualitative and quantifiable articles are sought mainly from academics and researchers in the field, though articles from professionals will also be considered. Developmental Psychobiology is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research papers from the disciplines of psychology, biology, neuroscience, and medicine that contribute to an understanding of behavior development. Research that focuses on development in the embryo/fetus, neonate, juvenile, or adult animal and multidisciplinary research that relates behavioral development to anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, or evolution is appropriate. The journal represents a broad phylogenetic perspective on behavior development by publishing studies of invertebrates, fish, birds, humans, and other animals. The journal publishes experimental and descriptive studies whether carried out in the laboratory or field. The journal also publishes review articles and theoretical papers that make important conceptual contributions. Special dedicated issues of Developmental Psychobiology , consisting of invited papers on a topic of general interest, may be arranged with the Editor-in-Chief. Developmental Psychobiology also publishes Letters to the Editor, which discuss issues of general interest or material published in the journal. Letters discussing published material may correct errors, provide clarification, or offer a different point of view. Authors should consult the editors on the preparation of these contributions. Overall scholarship including soundness of experimental design, appropriate controls and procedures, and importance and significance are the major criteria for publication. Developmental Psychobiology is the official publication of the International Society for Developmental Psychobiology. Membership in the Society is not a prerequisite for submission or publication.

The International Journal of African Renaissance Studies is a forum for scholarship on the challenges facing Africa today and seeks to promote research, policy analyses and teaching that locate African people at the centre of the development agenda.  The journal covers multi-, inter- and transdisciplinary approaches in examining the African Renaissance and the repositioning of Africa within the world system. It is committed to producing and using knowledge to empower and strengthen Africa, its people and its Diaspora.

International Journal of Jungian Studies (IJJS) meets an important need in bridging the professional and academic worlds of Jungian Studies. It reflects the interface between the Jungian arena (both academic and professional - clinical) and various relevant academic disciplines. The Journal of Fluorine Chemistry contains reviews, original papers and short communications. The journal covers all aspects of pure and applied research on the chemistry as well as on the applications of fluorine, and of compounds or materials where fluorine exercises significant effects. This can include all chemistry research areas (inorganic, organic, organometallic, macromolecular and physical chemistry) but also includes papers on biological/biochemical related aspects of Fluorine chemistry as well as medicinal, agrochemical and pharmacological research. The Journal of Fluorine Chemistry also publishes environmental and industrial papers dealing with aspects of Fluorine chemistry on energy and material sciences. Diatom Research is the journal of the International Society for Diatom Research. The journal is published quarterly, in March, June, September and December, and welcomes manuscripts on any aspect of diatom biology. In addition to full-length papers, short notes and reviews of recent literature are published which need not contain all the sections required for full-length papers; we see these as being necessary to record information which is of interest but which cannot be followed up in detail. Discursive 8220;Opinion8221; papers are encouraged which would not necessarily follow the normal lay-out. If extremely long papers are to be offered, the author(s) should contact the editors first to discuss any problems. Book reviews, obituaries and meeting reports can be published. All papers will be subject to critical review by the editors and referees, as appropriate to their content. Papers will be accepted in English only.

Experimental Heat Transfer provides a forum for experimentally based high quality research articles and communications in the general area of heat-mass transfer and the related fluid dynamics. In addition to the established multifaceted areas of thermal energy conversion and transport that are intimately connected to heat transfer related research, the journal also communicates contributions from new and emerging areas of research such as micro- and nanoscale science and technology, life sciences and biomedical engineering, manufacturing processes, materials science, and engineering. In all of these areas heat transfer plays an important role, in particular, in the form of innovative experiments and systems for direct measurements and analysis, as well as to verify or complement theoretical models.
