The Asia-Pacific Journal of Health, Sport and Physical Education is the Journal of the by the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER). The Journal has a particular focus on social science research-based articles (approximately 7000 words) that make reference to other critical work in the field and/or discuss particular issues of practice-focused research within the specific professional fields of health, sport and physical education. Editorial will privilege those articles that explore and provide a depth of understanding of the complex inter-relationship between developing/improving practice through the production of knowledge. The Journal will focus on the forms, contents and contexts of health education, sport and physical education as they relate to schools, universities and other forms of educational provision. While the Journal will give primacy to articles from, or focused on, the Asia-Pacific region, manuscripts from beyond this region are welcome - providing they have relevance to the readership.
The Asia-Pacific Journal of Health, Sport and Physical Education encourages submissions from social science researchers, academics and other commentators seeking to make contributions to the educational development of health, sport and physical education.
All manuscripts are read by the Editor and by two expert peer reviewers through a blind review process.
The Asia-Pacific Journal of Health, Sport and Physical Education will be published three times per year, March, July & November.
Church, Communication and Culture (CC&C) is published on an Open Access basis by the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross’ School of Church Communications in partnership with Routledge, Taylor & Francis. Dedicated to deepening knowledge and understanding about the dialogue between religion, communication and culture in the public arena, and based on comprehensive data analysis and theoretical inquiry, CC&C offers an international forum where researchers and practitioners can advance quality communication research on the Catholic Church and other religious communities.
CC&C derives its name from the reality that the Catholic Church is not simply one monolithic institution, but a network of various institutions. While maintaining unity through their creed and overarching aims, they operate in a variety of ways on different levels. These particular institutions within the Catholic Church have a multitude of specific objectives to carry out in concrete societies, with diverse peoples. The activity of “The Catholic Church” translates, therefore, not to one communication, but a plethora of multifarious communications. Consequently, CC&C aims to apply critical thought to the communicative dimension of the Catholic Church’s activity to engage society and promote dialogue with cultures. Content thus reflects theoretical inquiry based on empirical research and intellectual debate, rather than technological development.
CC&C is a peer-reviewed journal. All peer review is double-blind and detailed Instructions for Authors can be found here .

Cardiovascular imaging technologies now play an expanded role in clinical practice. Beyond the diagnosis of a disease process, these techniques are rapidly transitioning to help guide therapy. The journal aims to keep readers current with rapidly evolving advances in instrumentation and imaging procedures that support the expanded role of these technologies in clinical practice. The journal intends to place the entire area of cardiovascular imaging in its proper prospective by establishing the indications and limitations of each imaging technique and by summarizing recent clinical advances.
We accomplish this aim by appointing international authorities to serve as Section Editors in key subject areas across the field, including cardiac magnetic resonance, nuclear imaging, echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography, intravascular, molecular, and hybrid imaging. Section Editors select topics for which leading experts contribute comprehensive review articles that emphasize new developments and recently published papers of major importance, highlighted by annotated reference lists. An Editorial Board of internationally diverse members ensures that topics include emerging research and suggests topics of special interest to their country/region. We also provide commentaries from well-known figures in the field.

This Journal is established with a view to cater to increased awareness for high quality research in the seamless integration of heterogeneous technologies to formulate bankable solutions to the emergent complex engineering problems.Assurance engineering could be thought of as relating to the provision of higher confidence in the reliable and secure implementation of a system’s critical characteristic features through the espousal of a holistic approach by using a wide variety of cross disciplinary tools and techniques. Successful realization of sustainable and dependable products, systems and services involves an extensive adoption of Reliability, Quality, Safety and Risk related procedures for achieving high assurancelevels of performance: also pivotal are the management issues related to risk and uncertainty that govern the practical constraints encountered in their deployment. It is our intention to provide a platform for the modeling and analysis of large engineering systems, among the other aforementioned allied goals of systems assurance engineering, leading to the enforcement of performance enhancement measures. Achieving a fine balance between theory and practice is the primary focus. The Journal only publishes high quality papers that have passed the rigorous peer review procedure of an archival scientific Journal. The aim is an increasing number of submissions, wide circulation and a high impact factor.
