Lethaia is a leading international journal that emphasizes new developments and discoveries in palaeobiological and biostratigraphical research. A formal publication outlet for the International Palaeontological Association (IPA) and the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS), Lethaia publishes articles of international interest in the fields of palaeontology and stratigraphy. The articles concentrate on the development of new ideas and methods and descriptions of new features of wide significance rather than routine descriptions. Palaeobiology and ecostratigraphy are the core topics of the journal. In addition to articles, Lethaia contains shorter contributions in the form of discussions, presentations of current scientific activities, reviews and editorials. Lethaia was launched in 1968 as a joint venture between scientists in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, with the aim of promoting the development of modern methods in scientific publishing and of providing a medium for rapid publication of well-prepared manuscripts of wide international interest.

Ciência Rural is a bimonthly journal edited by the Centro de Ciências Rurais (CCR) with additional financial support from the Graduate Programs of the Centro de Ciências Rurais and Office of the Graduate School - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Coastal Engineering Journal is a peer-reviewed medium for the publication of research achievements and engineering practices in the fields of coastal, harbor and offshore engineering. The CEJ editors welcome original papers and comprehensive reviews on waves and currents, sediment motion and morphodynamics, as well as on structures and facilities. Reports on conceptual developments and predictive methods of environmental processes are also published. Topics also include hard and soft technologies related to coastal zone development, shore protection, and prevention or mitigation of coastal disasters. The journal is intended to cover not only fundamental studies on analytical models, numerical computation and laboratory experiments, but also results of field measurements and case studies of real projects.

The following kinds of articles are appropriate for the journal: (a) theories or theoretical analyses of knowledge representation, cognitive processes, and brain theory; (b) experimental or ethnographic studies relevant to theoretical issues in cognitive science; (c) descriptions of intelligent programs that exhibit or model some human ability; (d) design proposals for cognitive models; (e) protocol or discourse analysis of human cognitive processing; (f) discussions of new problem areas or methodological issues in cognitive science; and (g) short theoretical notes or rebuttals. This journal advances the knowledge and practice of community well-being as an interdisciplinary broad conception of human and societal well-being. The focus is predominately on communities of place and interest within geographic or societal spaces concerning social, economic, cultural/social, environmental or political conditions and impacts on societal and social well-being. It provides an outlet for excellent scholarship from a multitude of disciplines - including but not limited to community development, geography, urban and regional planning, economic development, public administration, regional studies, sociology, community learning and education, psychology and health – concerned with community well-being that promotes understanding of its multidimensional aspects. The journal publishes research that combines community well-being addressing issues facing our towns, cities and regions. It explores the collective aspects of communities and regions and how individual well-being is related to the context of societal well-being.

The International Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications (IJCGA) is a bimonthly journal devoted to the field of computational geometry within the framework of design and analysis of algorithms.Emphasis is placed on the computational aspects of geometric problems that arise in various fields of science and engineering including computer-aided geometry design (CAGD), computer graphics, constructive solid geometry (CSG), operations research, pattern recognition, robotics, solid modelling, VLSI routing/layout, and others. Research contributions ranging from theoretical results in algorithm design – sequential or parallel, probabilistic or randomized algorithms – to applications in the above-mentioned areas are welcome. Research findings or experiences in the implementations of geometric algorithms, such as numerical stability, and papers with a geometric flavour related to algorithms or the application areas of computational geometry are also welcome. .

International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (IJCIM) is a journal of new knowledge, reporting research and applications underlining the opportunities and limitations of CIM in today's lifecycle-oriented, knowledge-based era of manufacturing. IJCIM has been enthusiastically received by the international manufacturing community and has become a key forum for academics and industrial researchers to exchange information and ideas. In response to this interest, IJCIM is published eight times a year, which enables the editors to target special issues on topics as diverse as service-oriented architectures, next generation manufacturing systems, wireless manufacturing and digital enterprise technologies, as well as focused issues covering regional research (such as in the EU Framework Programme) and international research programmes and initiatives.

The Journal publishes original refereed papers, review papers and correspondence in the fields of skin and cosmetic research. It is read by practising cosmetic scientists and dermatologists, as well as specialists in more diverse disciplines that are developing new products which contact the skin. The aim of the Journal is to present current scientific research, both pure and applied, in: cosmetics, toiletries, perfumery and allied fields. Areas that are of particular interest include: human safety testing of skin, hair and oral products, physical chemistry and technology of emulsion and dispersed systems, theory and application of surfactants, new developments in olfactive research, aerosol technology and selected aspects of analytical chemistry.

Articles reflect the importance of computer modelling, as well as the development of human surrogates in impact simulation and prediction of vehicle and passenger response. Papers on impact biomechanics, covering human response, mechanics of injury and occupant protection in general, are also published. International Journal of Crashworthiness publishes both original research papers (full papers and short communications) and state-of-the-art reviews. International Journal of Speech Language Pathology is an international journal which promotes discussion on a broad range of current clinical and theoretical issues. Submissions may include experimental, review and theoretical discussion papers, with studies from either quantitative and/or qualitative frameworks. Articles may relate to any area of child or adult communication or dysphagia, furthering knowledge on issues related to etiology, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, or theoretical frameworks. Articles can be accompanied by supplementary audio and video files that will be uploaded to the journal's website. Special issues on contemporary topics are published at least once a year. A scientific forum is included in many issues, where a topic is debated by invited international experts.

When it was founded, the International Journal of Speleology was divided into four sections: Botany-Microbiology, Zoology, Geology-Geomorphology and Abstract-News. After the first issue edited by G. Claus (USA) other two editors added: R. Husson (France) and G Nicholas (USA). Verlag von J. Kramer (Germany) printed the first two volumes; successively Swets & ZEITLINGER N.V. (The Netherlands) published it.Since 1972 R. Husson became Editor-in -chief with Br. G. Nicholas as Book & News Editor and nine volumes were issued in the period 1964 to 1977 when the very high cost of printing requested a radical change.In 1978 the IJS became the official journal of the Union International de Spéléologie and it was published in Italy where the printing cost was cheaper. R. Husson (Biospeleology), A.A. Cigna (Physical Speleology) and Br. G. Nicholas (Book & News) composed the Editorial Board.

The International Journal of Technology and Design Education encourages research and scholarly writing covering all aspects of technology and design education. The journal features critical, review, and comparative studies. In addition, readers will find contributions that draw upon other fields such as historical, philosophical, sociological, or psychological studies that address issues of concern to technology and design education. The Editorial Board views the teaching of technology and design as an emergent rather than an established practice, with many open issues requiring research. Among these issues are the preparation of technology teachers, the assessment of technological competence, and the relationship of technology to other curriculum elements, notably science. There are also significant policy questions that need to be addressed relating to the practice and rationale of curriculum change.

The International Journal of the Commons (IJC) is an initiative of the International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC).

As an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed open-access journal, the IJC is dedicated to furthering the understanding of institutions for use and management of resources that are (or could be) enjoyed collectively. These resources may be part of the natural world (e.g. forests, climate systems, or the oceans) or they may emerge from social realities created by humans (e.g. the internet or (scientific) knowledge, for example of the sort that is published in open-access journals).

Using resources collectively is often believed to be problematic. In practice however, many cases can be found of common pool resources that are used in a sustainable way. The editors of the IJC welcome contributions from all scientific disciplines, from practitioners and policy makers. We hope that our interdisciplinary approach will contribute to creating a balanced and nuanced view of how common pool institutions actually emerge, develop and perform.
