Policy and Practice in Health and Safety is designed as a forum for academic and policy discourse on health and safety. It is aimed at those who practise, tutor, research or study health and safety regulation and management.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double-blind and submission is online via Editorial Manager.

Child: care, health and development is an international, peer-reviewed journal which publishes papers dealing with all aspects of the health and development of children and young people. We aim to attract quantitative and qualitative research papers relevant to people from all disciplines working in child health. We welcome studies which examine the effects of social and environmental factors on health and development as well as those dealing with clinical issues, the organization of services and health policy. We particularly encourage the submission of studies related to those who are disadvantaged by physical, developmental, emotional and social problems. The journal also aims to collate important research findings and to provide a forum for discussion of global child health issues.

Global Public Health is an essential peer-reviewed journal that energetically engages with key public health issues that have come to the fore in the global environment — mounting inequalities between rich and poor, the globalization of trade, new patterns of travel and migration, epidemics of newly-emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, the HIV/AIDS pandemic, the increase in chronic illnesses, escalating pressure on public health infrastructures around the world, and the growing range and scale of conflict situations, terrorist threats, environmental pressures, natural and human-made disasters. Directed and supported by a leading international board of experts, the journal is broad-based and wide-ranging, including work that draws on the environmental health sciences; epidemiology; health policy and management; and the social sciences as applied to public health and medicine. Therefore, the journal is keen to publish manuscripts with analysis emphasizing each of the following: The role of significant social factors, especially social inequalities, as determinants of health; Politics and policy, both as shaping health outcomes and as important components of health systems; and The global and the ways in which any specific case study raises issues about global processes or systems.

Population Health Metrics is ready to receive manuscripts on all aspects of the measurement of health at the population level.

To disseminate the production of different areas of knowledge about health practices, aiming at the interdisciplinary development of the field of public health.

Public Health Reviews (PHR) is an independent journal of the non-profit
