The Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery / Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (RBCP) aims to record the scientific production in plastic surgery and encourage the study, improvement, and updating of professionals in the specialty. Papers submitted to the journal for publication must address topics related to plastic surgery and related areas. The journal publishes the following article categories: editorial, original article, review article, case report, ideas and innovations, special article, and letter to the editor.

The Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics welcomes manuscripts on biological structure, dynamics, interactions and expression. The Journal is one of the leading publications in high end computational science, atomic structural biology, bioinformatics, virtual drug design, genomics and biological networks. Journal of Japanese and Korean Cinema is a fully refereed forum for the dissemination of scholarly work devoted to the cinemas of Japan and Korea and the interactions and relations between them. The increasingly transnational status of Japanese and Korean cinema underlines the need to deepen our understanding of this ever more globalized film-making region.

The Journal of Korean Studies is dedicated to quality articles, in all disciplines, on a broad range of topics concerning Korea, both historical and contemporary that take into account the literature in both Korean and English. The Journal of Korean Studies was founded in 1969 by the Korean Studies Society. The first series had two issues: Volume 1 no. 1 (1969) and Volume 1 no. 2 (1971). In 1979, the second series began and volumes were published annually until 1992. Reinaugurated in 2004, the journal is now sponsored by the University of Washington Center for Korean Studies.

The Journal of Medieval Religious Cultures (formerly Mystics Quarterly) is currently in its thirty-second year of continuous publication. The journal chiefly publishes peer-reviewed essays on mystical and devotional texts, especially but not exclusively of the Western Middle Ages. In its new form it will seek to expand its areas of focus to include the relationship of medieval religious cultures outside Europe. The IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology is dedicated to the publication of peer-reviewed original contributions of research regarding the theory and practice of electrical and electronics technology in vehicles and vehicular systems. The intended audience is comprised of engineers, researchers, educators, and graduate students of vehicular technology concepts and theory in academia, industry, and government. The scope of the Transactions is threefold (which was approved by the IEEE Periodicals Committee in 1967) and is published on the journal website as follows: Communications: The use of mobile radio on land, sea, and air, including cellular radio, two-way radio, and one-way radio, with applications to dispatch and control vehicles, mobile radiotelephone, radio paging, and status monitoring and reporting. Related areas include spectrum usage, component radio equipment such as cavities and antennas, compute control for radio systems, digital modulation and transmission techniques, mobile radio circuit design, radio propagation for vehicular communications, effects of ignition noise and radio frequency interference, and consideration of the vehicle as part of the radio operating environment. Transportation Systems: The use of electronic technology for the control of ground transportation systems including, but not limited to, traffic aid systems; traffic control systems; automatic vehicle identification, location, and monitoring systems; automated transport systems, with single and multiple vehicle control; and moving walkways or people-movers. The contributions can be conceptual, theoretical, or experimental. Two types of manuscripts are considered for publication. Heart & Lung: The Journal of Acute and Critical Care, the official publication of The American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, presents original, peer-reviewed articles on techniques, advances, investigations, and observations related to the care of patients with acute and critical illness and patients with chronic cardiac or pulmonary disorders.The Journal's acute care articles focus on the care of hospitalized patients, including those in the critical and acute care settings. Because most patients who are hospitalized in acute and critical care settings have chronic conditions, we are also interested in the chronically critically ill, the care of patients with chronic cardiopulmonary disorders, their rehabilitation, and disease prevention. The Journal's heart failure articles focus on all aspects of the care of patients with this condition. Manuscripts that are relevant to populations across the human lifespan are welcome.We are interested in publishing articles representing a broad range of science and clinical practice in a variety of settings as it pertains to our target population. Because health care and the health sciences are global, interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary, we encourage authors to submit manuscripts that reflect these perspectives. Many articles also provide nurses with a framework for applying research results in clinical practice.We publish original research, case reports, reviews, and observations that are on the cutting edge of science and clinical practice. Europe-Asia Studies is the principal academic journal in the world focusing on the history and current political, social and economic affairs of the countries of the former 'communist bloc' of the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and Asia. At the same time, the journal explores the economic, political and social transformation of these countries and the changing character of their relationships with the rest of Europe and Asia. From its first publication in 1949, until January 1993, the title of Europe-Asia Studies was Soviet Studies. The Editors' decision to change the title to Europe-Asia Studies followed the collapse of the Soviet Union at the end of 1991. It reflected the belief that countries of the former 'Soviet bloc' would gradually become more closely linked with both Europe and Asia, while continuing to present distinctive topics for research as a consequence of their specific experience. In 2007 the Editors took a further decision to extend the journal's scope to include China and other Asian countries that are or were under communist rule. Europe-Asia Studies is published by Routledge on behalf of the Department of Central and East European Studies, a centre for teaching and research at the University of Glasgow.
