The Journal of Mathematical Sociology is published in association with the International Network for Social Network Analysis, the Japanese Association for Mathematical Sociology, the Mathematical Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association, the Methodology Section of the American Sociological Association, and with the generous support of the UCLA Division of Social Sciences . The Journal of Mathematical Sociology publishes articles in all areas of mathematical sociology. The Journal of Mathematical Sociology also welcomes papers of mutual interest to social scientists and other social and behavioral scientists, as well as papers by non-social scientists that may encourage fruitful connections between sociology and other disciplines. Reviews of new or developing areas of mathematics and mathematical modeling that may have significant applications in sociology will also be considered. Because Journal of Mathematical Sociology is addressed primarily to sociologists it is anticipated that most articles will be oriented toward a mathematical understanding of emergent complex social structures rather than to an analysis of individual behavior. These structures include, for example, informal groups, social networks, organizations, and global systems. Papers on sociological and statistical methods are also welcome. The oldest free-standing psychoanalytic journal in North America, The Psychoanalytic Quarterly is published every January, April, July, and October. Each issue contains from six to eight original articles, a section of in-depth book reviews, and a unique series of abstracts summarizing selected international journals and correlations with the neurosciences. A special section of the Quarterly is devoted to the examination of clinical process from a variety of viewpoints, utilizing presentations of case material. Since its establishment in 2003, The Surgeon has established itself as one of the leading multidisciplinary surgical titles, both in print and online. Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry is a core scientific journal in China. Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities’s ( RAPIDD's) purpose is to disseminate research, encourage its translation and relevance to practice and policy, and generate informed debate on contemporary issues that matter to the quality of life of people with intellectual disability and their families.  Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will inform the design and delivery of support that is important for people with intellectual disability and their families to facilitate social inclusion and engagement. Its focus is also the practices and structural adjustments necessary to enable mainstream services and communities to be inclusive and respond appropriately to people with intellectual disability.

Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will provide a forum to identify pressing research questions, practice and policy issues.  The Australian context and the pursuit of a more inclusive society for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are the core focus of the journal. Also of interest are comparative perspectives that explore similarities and differences with other contexts and groups of people with disability. The journal publishes original research, concise reviews of contemporary research or literature, critical or descriptive analysis of policy and programs, evaluative case studies illustrating application of research to practice, as well as conceptual papers that bring new ideas or theoretical perspectives to the field of intellectual and developmental disability.

The journal will establish a means of constructive dialogue between the different perspectives of managers, practitioners, academics, families, people with intellectual disability, advocates, funders and policy makers. It will provide space to consider interfaces and respective roles of communities, families and service systems, both disability and mainstream.  The content will be characterised by the quality, rigour and clarity inherent in a peer reviewed publication and be relevant and accessible to its intended audience of people with disabilities, families, service providers, academics and policy makers. The contents of  Research and Practice in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are a combination of papers commissioned by editors and those submitted through an open process by anyone with an interest in the field. All papers are peer reviewed before publication and will not exceed 4000 words. 

RSC Chemical Biology is a gold open access journal dedicated to publishing and disseminating exceptional, breakthrough research and high-quality reviews at the interface of chemistry and biology. We welcome contributions from across the breadth of the chemical biology field. Journal of Statistics for the Physical, Chemical, and Engineering SciencesPublished Quarterly by the American Society for Quality and the American Statistical AssociationSince its inception in 1959, the mission of Technometrics has been to contribute to the development and use of statistical methods in the physical, chemical, and engineering sciences.Technometrics publishes papers that describe new statistical techniques, illustrate innovative application of known statistical methods, or review methods, issues, or philosophy in a particular area of statistics or science, when such papers are consistent with the journal's objective. Since 1959, the methods presented in the journal have reflected changes in the discipline.In recent years, some of these changes have been associated with improved computer technology and availability, resulting in highly flexible and computer-intensive approaches to scientific data analysis. (See for example the lead article in the August 1998 issue by Richard A. Becker, Linda A. Clark, and Diane Lambert entitled "Events Defined By Duration and Severity, with an Application to Network Reliability," with discussion by Jeff Robinson and Josef Schmee.) With the emergence of massive computing and data storage capabilities, statistical approaches to screening, flexible modeling, pattern characterization, and change detection that were infeasible 20 years ago are now viable. There have also been shifts in basic attitudes about data analysis (e.g., less formal hypothesis testing, more fitted models via graphical analysis), and in how some of our important application areas are managed (e.g., quality assurance through robust design rather than detailed inspection).Many of the problems in industry today concern the analysis of huge data sets that lead to improved quality or better understanding of the manufacturing or development process. The Journal of Coordination Chemistry publishes the results of original investigations involving the physical and chemical properties, syntheses and structures of coordination compounds. Its scope may be defined as being concerned with the interactions of organic and inorganic ligands with metal centres. Material on applications of coordination compounds may be included when relevant. Short reviews of current research in coordination chemistry will also be considered for publication. In addition to full articles, preliminary communications of results (up to 1000 words) may be submitted. The journal intends to shorten considerably the time between receipt, acceptance and publication of such articles in order to provide a mechanism for speedy publication of preliminary accounts of original and significant findings in coordination chemistry. Short articles that lack urgency are also acceptable to the journal and will be published in due course, as long as the desire to avoid multiple publication is met.The Editor also welcomes review articles in all areas of coordination chemistry, including inorganic solid state chemistry, organometallic chemistry and bioinorganic chemistry, as well as applications to analytical chemistry, catalysis, industrial chemistry and materials science. Articles may focus primarily on the metal, the ligand or the application. Given the limitation in length for the reviews, two extreme cases can be envisaged. Topics of emerging interest should be developed fully from basics. Careful attention must be paid to the way in which the new area relates to the field in general. Journal of Cultural Economy is part of the Culture, Economy and the Social publishing programme of the ESRC Centre for Research on Socio Cultural Change (CRESC). Its concern is with the role played by various forms of material cultural practice in the organisation of the economy and the social, and of the relations between them. As such it will provide a unique interdisciplinary forum for work on these questions from across the social sciences and humanities. These include the contributions of actor network theory and science studies to debates about the 8216;performativity' of the economy and the social and the parallel discussions about the distributive nature of economic and social agency across networks of things and persons that is evident in social anthropology, and material culture studies.In cultural studies, feminism and sociology, a range of perspectives have been deployed to explore the making up of social and organizational identities, and this has been complemented by approaches to the governance of economies and of the social stimulated by Foucault's work on 8216;governmentality'. This has been paralleled by important historical work on the relations between culture, economy and the social. A renewed focus on material cultures of production and consumption has also been animated by the work of Gilles Deleuze and of Pierre Bourdieu. While all of these approaches to the relations between culture, economy and the social have interacted with and influenced each other, there has been a relative shortage of debate across and between them. EMJ is designed to provide practical, pertinent knowledge on the management of technology, technical professionals, and technical organizations. EMJ strives to provide value to the practice of engineering management and engineering managers. EMJ is an archival journal that facilitates both practitioners and university faculty in publishing useful articles. In addition to its focus on French and Francophone studies, one of the journal' primary objectives is to reflect the interdisciplinary direction taken by the field and by the humanities and the arts in general.Contemporary French & Francophone Studies is published five times per year, with four issues devoted to particular themes, and a fifth issue, "The Open Issue" welcoming non-thematic contributions. Each of the five issue features contributors from across the disciplines, with 5 to 10 % of a given issue in French, and the remaining contents either in English or in bilingual form.The objective of Contemporary French and Francophone Studies is to reflect the enormous vitality and variety displayed by those engaged in the field of French Studies. Editorial policy is designed to foster controversy in a field which is already in significant ideological ferment. Contemporary French and Francophone Studies has attempted to follow this objective in both past issues on France, popular culture, autobiography, contemporary writers and poets, and will continue to do so in upcoming issues on women, visual arts, travel, writings, translation, and eroticism.The editors welcome suggestions for co-edited issues.
